Totally gripping plot! Could not put the book down! Shall look forward to reading more by this author!

This book was so fast paced it really was shocking. Each of the lead characters were enjoyable to read about and completely believable. Lisa Gardner really shone here and her talents were literally just a joy to read in parts.The pace was kept up through-out and towards the end the shocks just kept coming without becoming unbelievable.A really good read, so glad I picked it up and you will be too!

Come on... there were so many elements that sounded too unbelievable / naive / not probable in this book that I cannot say i find it a quality read. I did like some of the character descriptions, some of the plot is really well written. but all in all, other Gardner's books were much better

An okay read for the summer but at times the plot was rather unbelievable which because of the violence at times is just as well.

The book really looks like a new book! I love books and honestly, I could never say that this is a used book.The delivery was amazing! It arrived ten days before the expected, almost like prime to be fare!Will definitely buy again and super recommend it!

keeps you gripped to the end. the characters are very believable and some you have to really feel for too. I loved the ending, made me feel satisfied for some of the characters. This is my second read by Lisa Gardner and it did not disappoint. can't wait to start my next read as the dialogue is just perfect.

It is what it is fast paced ,pulp fiction, in the best sense, Perfect for holiday readingwill buy more from Lisa I enjoyed this a great deal more than I thought I would.

This book will hold your attention to the very end is full of twists in terms that you won’t see coming. It was a great book.

Une histoire policière qui nous tient jusqu'au bout. Une fin un peu rapide mais pas non plus expédiée. Une série qui commence bien !

Non era facile tirarle fuori una bella storia, dalle premesse. Sembrava, più un polpettone a tratti anche melenso, ma più che altro un poliziesco di seconda categoria americano, una gonfiatura di una sceneggiatura di un da guardare quando non si ha di meglio da fare. Invece il romanzo si sblocca (presto, per fortuna) e da una storia che sembrava banale se ne esce soddisfatti. Per questo ho dato cinque stelle. Ardito si dimostra anche lo sforzo introspettivo dei personaggi. Brava la scrittrice (P.S. Ho letto un altro romanzo subito dopo e non mi ha deluso per niente, è anzi forse più anche emozionante - Live to tell)
