Shin pads OK, socks small
The shin pads are a good size but I'm finding the socks very small on my 8 year old. Very tight on her legs and she has thin legs. She's worn them once and I'm waiting to see if washing them has helped.

1st impression was plasticky by was pleasantly surprised how sturdy they are. Offers good protection in those hard tackles. Socks are ok too
