Final Fantasy VII - On the Way to a Smile

My book is in English. I purchased this after reading another FFVII book by the same author called 'The Kids Are Alright: A Turks Side Story'.I had read reviews that the book had arrived in different languages for others. When you purchase just be sure that it does not specifically state French or another language. I found that when I pressed on the Hardcover option it showed in French and then when going back to the Paperback option it still remained in French. After refreshing the Amazon page the paperback no longer showed as French.Just be certain it does not specifically state French and you'll probably receive the English book like I did.

Happy happy happy after waiting years for this to be translated I’ve finally got it! As a big FFVII fan it’s interesting to read what happened in the gap between the end of the game and the beginning of advent children a great read for any fan of final fantasy 7 and a perfect add to the collection product was in top condition perfectly presented and delivery was quick and easyBe sure to read the product description it’s on the paperback in English NOT the hardback

I was worried because half of the reviews said this was in French. My copy arrived and it is in English!

Be careful guys, Amazon expect you to be a psychic when it comes to offerimg you this book in paperback and giving the option for hardback put not then prompting you that if you do pick hard back you will also need to download Duolingo and learn french to read the damn thing. Amazon in their fabour did swap for the english paperback but im astonished that for a huge company like amazon, when you select the hardbavk option there isnt a prompt or warning that the language will be different. Sort this out amazon because looking at the comments im not the only one who was duped by this. The book (finally in english) is an excellent read though, the narrative explaining what happens to the characters between FF7 and advent children has been written with great love and understanding of the lore and the characters themselves. A definite addition to any Final Fantasy nut. The book itself is 5 stars, the four is purely due to Amazons mess up with the french hardbook version not being clearly stated when you swap from paperback to hardback.

Nice lore insight in the lead up to advent children.For those who who have recently completed FFVII in anticipation of the remake, this is a must read for a little insight into the movie sequel.

A must have for collectors and fans of the game/series.

Have always been a massive fan of Final Fantasy (7 my favourite) and Dont know why I didn't get this book earlier. Thoghly enjoyed revisiting the characters.

Das Buch ist eine tolle Ergänzung zu den Spielen und gibt Einblick in das Innenleben einiger Charaktere (Denzel, Tifa, Red, Barret, Rufus...) und wie sie mit der Meteorkrise zurechtgekommen sind. Es sind auch einige Seiten drin die die Gedanken von Aerith und Sephiroth im Lebensstrom beinhalten. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, wenn man seine Lieblingscharaktere etwas näher kennenlernen will. Zeitlich spielt das nach der Hauptstory von FF7 und vor Advent Children. Das Buch ist auf Englisch.

Amo final Fantasy vii e acho que todo fã deveria ter... I'm glad they've published this officially in English (the soft-cover version. The hard-cover is en Français). Reading this story hits different now that we're in the middle of a pandemic; this whole Geostigma thing and the fear and confusion the characters feel is eerily relatable.
