Tossed this bulb into my KTM EXC and it transformed the bike to one that could be ridden at night. On very dark nights and wooded situation, I'd say it's best up to around 45-50mph. Beyond that and you don't throw enough light to have enough view of potential critters on the road.Diameter of the bulb is slightly more than that on my KTMs headlight housing. So it took a little sanding of the housing to fit. Other than that, nice and easy install.

The base didn’t fit and wasn’t a 1:1 match for the halogen. The base on the led received was much larger than the picture of this bulb. Broke the bulb trying to make it work (my fault) so now I’m just out $20 and had to order another bulb.

Low beam flat on top projects about 20 feet out.... high beam bright but very narrow beam and focus...not at all suitable for nightime street machines!

I should have done a little more research but I thought a H4 LED that's meant to replace a halogen in a motorcycle headlight would be fairly standard. I was wrong. This bulb has the fan/colling assembly located on the end of the unit that slides into the reflector housing - as another reviewer pointed out here. This puts the cooling fan inside the reflector/lens housing. As a result the bulb requires a much bigger hole to get the mounting plate in position (much much bigger). It's really too bad because the unit looked to be of high quality and I liked the black finish. The simple plug and play connector with no external driver would have made for a very clean and simple install. I sent the unit back right away and had to go back to figuring out how to cram the "other" type of LEDs into my headlight housing. I'd give 5 stars for speed of delivery and the appearance of a quality unit but I never got to test it so 3 stars it is.

I purchased this bulb for my Victory Gunner motorcycle. The light fits into the base of the bezel just fine but the backside plastic retainer did not fit over top of the bulb’s larger diameter 3 prong connection point. I simply oversize the hole with a Dremel tool and the retainer was able to slide over perfectly. You will also lose the oring when you enlarge which I sealed up with silicone. Not having the bulb cooling fan on the backside or stuffing heat tape in to the light bucket was the deciding factor in this purchase. It also seems to run cooler than the conventional halogene.The daytime running bulb (peanut bulb) was also changed to an led.The light shines soooo well at night and has a huge difference between hi and low beam. In low beam, only the bottom led’s shine. On high they all shine.Zero drivers shot their high beams at me on low beam either.Very satisfied with my first night ride.Also added a ceramic h4 connector.I will only report back if longevity is an issue.

Brightness is good, pattern is a bit funky. Will update if it doesn't last.

Great light! Love how there is no fat rear fan or anything. Very easy to install compared to other LED especially on a motorcycle. I hope it is durable, so far so good and reliable!

It is very bright, I had to do a little work on my headlight for bulb to fit.
