The blanket is a tight weave and a good weight. It is not soft as the weave is nubby but may get softer with wear.It arrived with two large thread pullouts on the back, unacceptable at the price or any price. Others complained of the same. Perhaps the vendor can check them before sending out as it appears that some of them are seconds. As I washed it before noticing I will keep it but it is disappointing.Update: after noticing another pulled put thread on the front and a light stain, possible of factory origin, I just didn't feel good about the item and asked for a refund. Happily, with Prime, the free return was almost immediate as the refund was issued when the package was scanned at my end. Very satisfied with the Prime service.If it's of use to buyers, my impression was that this fabric is not what we would call a blanket here, more like a bedspread or heavy curtain fabric. It's a heavy textile and so could be called a blanket but I had no sense of luxuriousness to the item as presented although that's a matter of taste. It seems like cotton textiles of any weight are more costly and the size and weigh were generous.

Nice cotton throw if you can get it for under $35. The price on this fluctuates from week to week from $25 - $100. I like cotton because it's heavier and more durable. The polyester throws hold static on windy days and you can't throw them in the dryer.

Love this blanket! Bought it in Graphite in King size and it's exactly what I was looking for. I love that it's 100% cotton yet has a nice weight to it. Definitely warm and fits the bed perfectly. The pinstripes are subtle but add just the right touch of design over a plain blanket. It's hard to tell from the photo but this is not a fleece or plush blanket like microfiber (I was worried that it would be). Love love love. You won't be disappointed!

This is my second blanket like this, can't have too many bed linens! I like the weight. We have some dogs that occasionally make themselves at home on our bed and the inexpensive woven cotten blankets always got pulled threads doo was looking for a medium weight 100% Cotten blanket that wouldn't pull and didn't cost an arm and a leg. These blankets fit nicely.

Beautiful muted colors, thick and stitched well along the hems. Does well as a throw, or as a blanket.
