I would have preferred not the lemon just the peppermint stick but only came half and half.

I haven’t tried any Luna nutrition bars in the past, but when I took several boxes to the office, found out just how popular they were. It was a virtual taste-a-thon with everyone selecting their flavor. Surprisingly, most people opted for the Lemonzest, while only a few chose the Chocolate Peppermint Stick. Regardless of one’s selection, everyone loved them. All the comments were positive ones.The most commonly heard description about the Lemonzest was that it was, indeed, zesty. The Chocolate Peppermint Stick testers were slightly less enthusiastic, simply saying their nutrition bars were very good. The taste testers varied from the nibblers to the ones who chowed down and ate their bars in a couple of bites. The enthusiasm was infectious with everyone wanted to try out a bar. FYI, the taste testers varied in age from our twenty-somethings to those in their sixties.There was only one comment on the packaging and that was the fact that these bars were targeted toward women. Good taste can’t be categorized and all the taste testers loved these bars. A few had tried them before and one individual even knew they were manufactured by Clif. Clif Bars are well-known in the hiking and camping community for providing just the right nutritional boost to keep a body moving.

For the purpose of this honest review, I only received a free box of 6 Lemonzest Luna Bars, so I'm not attesting to any of the other flavors. That being said, the Lemonzest bars are VERY TASTY and GLUTEN FREE. They are made of organic oats, with 8 grams of soy protein, 3 grams of fiber, and NO artificial flavors, at 190 calories per bar. They also have 6% of iron, vitamin E, magnesium, and calcium, as well as 8% phosphorus. Be aware that they also have 9 grams of sugars, 85 milligrams of sodium, 28 grams of carbohydrates, and 6 grams of fat, which is not bad, but it's good information to have in certain diets. When I have to rush out of the house early in the mornings and don't have time for breakfast, I sometimes grab a protein bar to-go. However, these are kind of sweet for me first thing in the morning, so I think they are better as an energy booster after a workout or as a dessert. For the latter reasons, I give the Luna Lemonzest Bars 5 stars.

Absolutely The BEST Tasting Protein Bar Ever!!! These are truly Delicious!!! I am a Chocolate person, so given the choice of Chocolate or anything else I will always choose the Chocolate!!! However, I must admit, this Lemon Zest is Equally or Better tasting than the Chocolate....and the Chocolate is Ten Star Amazing!!! I can go all day just eating these Bars of Protein and Energy!!! High in Carbs though, so you need to balance whether you need Carbs or you just need Protein!!! Really taste Fantastic though and definitely fill you up and energize you!!! 10 Stars!!! Thank you!!!
