Very nice with good weight
So far I really love my little butane blow torch. I've used it to make a sugar crust on oatmeal, broil a chicken breast to bring it some color, and a meringue on a cake. It has a nice weight and seems very durable. It's easy to fill. And it fits well in my hand. It has a safety cover for the controls. And I appreciate that because it's easy to click on the control because I'm clumsy. The only problem I have is it's hard to judge if it's filled with butane or not after you fill it. Other than that I'm getting really used to it and I like it a lot

Best Torch I've Used
EDIT TO ADD INFO 9/27/22: Now used this for a month & a half and I LOVE it!! Today the wife asked me to order one for her as she has grown to also love it and now hates using her Newport torch saying the it hurts her fingers trying to unlock the safety every time igniting it. Definitely quality made at an unbelievable price for that level of quality (cost me around $20 & I see torches of similar quality at around $40 to $60). I would get a second one to have on backup though I don't foresee this one failing anytime soon.ORIGINAL REVIEW UPON PURCHASE ON 8/22/22:My wife has a Newport torch that she uses for smoking concentrates. I don't smoke though am often using the torch in the kitchen for various cooking applications. It was at the point were I needed my own. I had gotten used to using and like the shape of the Newport & this was a close match.I was very impressed straight out of the box. Where I thought it would take some time to get used to the different torch, instead I immediately preferred it's use over the one I had been 'borrowing' all this time.It feels far more sturdy, nothing about it feels cheap or as though it won't last long. Igniting it is much easier and I have much more control and ease in changing the intensity of the flame than her Newport lighter. There's really nothing in the 'Negatives column" that I can say. Even the price is extremely reasonable for this quality. And even the little details of this lighter: The attachable base has a port so I can refill it without having to remove the base (quite a few torches that I looked at the base needed to be removed to refill the torch.. which would eventually result in the base becoming increasingly loose & not staying on anymore)I'm extremely happy with this torch. Even the wife now likes using it over her Newport for her concentrates.. meaning, she'll be getting one of her own also ; )

A very good product to be used at shorter intervals.
I used the Colibiri butane gas to fill the tank. The orange adaptors quiet did not fit the nozzle on the totch. Nit a snug fit. The adapters which were in the lid of the Colibiri also were slightly wobbly. In short some of the butane fluid leaked during filup. This is a very handy torch to caramalise sugar on dsrtd. - Short time intervals. I would not recommend it for searing meat. The butane runs out due to prolong use. I would recommend it very much.

It's ok. Not for detail work.
Pros: seems pretty well made, stable standing up, stays lit without having to press a button or anything.Cons: the flame is quite big, probably okay for creme brulee, but not so much for soldering. Although it looks very similar to my other torch, this one does not allow adjusting the flame intensity by adjusting the air flow. Not worth returning, but I'll look for another.

Big torch heat in a small package
This torch packs some heat for a small torch. Infinitely adjustable and easy to use one handed if you need to. I've had multiple mini torches and this is by far the best one I've tried. My favorite feature is the thumb wheel style valve. It can easily be operated one handed and you don't have to fiddle with safety triggers and nonsense with this torch. This one sees every day use at the ready when we need to start a fire in our fireplace.

Easy to use kitchen torch
I love this torch. I use it when I crystallize creme bulee and baked Alaska. It is so easy to fill with butane. It is safe and easy to use. It has different tips for using on butane canisters, so I can use almost all butane filler.
