Great movie to watch.

Finally we get a new Tremors movie!!! It's very fun to watch and there are a ton of references to the other movies. There are even references to Die Hard and Jurassic Park. The special effects are good, but I still miss some of the practical ones. I wish the music for this one was better, like if you watch the second movie, it has a very unique theme song, and I wish that they had done something like that for this one. I wish we had seen Perfection a little bit instead of just the desert, but I guess they were saving that for the next movie. The African Graboids are truly epic, and put a new twist on the monsters we know and love. I don't know how they plan to top them later on, but the best I can come up with is the that government "Modifies" them somehow to of course turn them into weapons. I feel like they sort of made Burt a milder version of himself here, but he is getting old so I guess he's written that way on purpose. Jamie Kennedy is not terrible and actually works for the movie instead of against it.But sadly it does seem that a little bit of the old magic just isn't there, I'm not exactly sure what did it, but it feels.. off somehow. But you can't take a franchise that hasn't seen a new installment in about a dozen years and just duplicate what made the others work, I understand that. It's still an awesome movie, and it's great that they found a way to make it new and still make it work so that people will love it just as much as the others.I was very happy when I heard that this was coming out, and I was not disappointed. It's worth the wait.This is one of my absolute favorite franchises and I sincerely hope they make more movies.I didn't actually watch the Blu-ray for this, my copy is still in the mail. But I did watch it on Netflix. I will update this review of the Blu-ray set when I get it.Update:Finally got the Blu-ray copy, here we go.The quality of the Blu-ray is just what it should be, though the menu screen will confuse you at first.The special features are great, as in we actually get some. Instead of just a bunch of trailers for other stuff, we get deleted scenes which are really cool, there are some that I wish they hadn't cut. The gag reel is okay. Then we get a behind the scenes feature, which personally I didn't find to be such a big deal. Definitely get the Blu-ray for this, it's worth it.

After being a huge fan of the first 4 Tremors movies and even getting to enjoy them all with my past girlfriends, not only did it seem as though there wasn't anything left for them to possibly do with this series plus for 10 straight years all there was for this franchise was just for first 4 movies plus the short-lived TV series. Well come the 11th year(circa 2015), once I came across mention of this movie in my local video rental store(now out of business), I was all too ready to usher this movie in with total joy. Before I bought this on Bluray I bought the DVD as it saved me money. Well I will admit that this movie didn't exactly win me over at first. Just like with part 4 before it this one also required 4v watches plus thinking over its merits versus its few demerits, in between watches. Since then while I wouldn't call this movie perfect by any means, it still packs some considerable entertainment, all the same.The positives of this movie: Once again we still get the great, heroic, and all around awesome, Burt Gummer, we get a different location with it(this time) taking place in South Africa, the both familiar and new breed of both Graboids and A**Blasters, Burt's neurotic and hilarious quirks, there's enough great action to keep its audience enthralled, Burt gets a new partner named Travis B. Welker of whom is pretty funny, finally we get some great eye-candy, a more of less love interest to Travis, plus bada** fighter with gorgeous, heroic, and sexy Dr Nandi Montabu.The scene with Burt being stuck in a cage in the middle of the African heat was gross aqnd times but happily also very funny as well.Something different was done from the standard Graboid as this time they lunge out of the ground after their victims(mostly like how the hatchling baby Graboids(or Dirt Dragons) from part 4 did) plus they lunge in an aerial spiral motion. Also their tentacles, rather than becoming Shriekers run freely like snakes only they can leap. As for the A**Blasters they are way bigger than the A**Blasters than the ones in America, they have tailfeathers, hugr talons with 2 huge claws and 2 duclaws. Instead of a beak with a long snout, they have a huge circular mouth full of lots of teeth.The action scenes include 2 great scenes of them blowing up the nest of eggs in the caves, Burt and Travis running between the cows to doge a Graboid while struggling to reach the helicopter, any scene where Nandi shoots arrows at the A88Blasters, finally the electrocution leading to a big explosion on one of the Graboids.The Negatives: Their are zero Shriekers, Travis never gets the girl, there aren't many funny scenes, finally there are too many gross(and completely unneccesary) scenes of urination.Overall, while this movie is neither perfect nor is it the best of the series, it still offers plenty of comedy, action, some eye-candy, and some charm just as before even with it having some flaws to it.BASICALLY, A MUST SEE!!! 9 STARS OUT OF 10!!!

Le bof le film n est pas ce que je m attendait, les tremors sont pas comme avant.... le 1 et le 2 tremors sont milles fois mieux je suis un dessus du résultat

Vale la pena esta edición, el blu viene hablado y subtitulado tanto en español latino como ibérico, el dvd sólo en latino, la copia digital no la pude descargar por vivir en México. Traía la cubierta de cartón que le da más estilo. Buena calidad de imagen. Los extras con subtítulos.

Todo muy bien, en la carátula pone que trae idioma inglés y francés, me aviso de ello muy amable el vendedor. La verdad es que el disco también viene en perfecto Castellano.Muy contento.
