I am finally happy!! I found my eggplant dish!!!In Romania we make a salad from grilled eggplant with oil, salt, and onion. OMG! I missed that so much!!!I don't have the patience to stay next to the oven and grill eggplant, so this is perfect!!!Thank you for grilling the eggplants for me !

This is the REAL Middle East Fired Roasted Eggplant!!!!!Wonderful taste!!!!The only downside is the Shipping process: USPS requires your presence in home or authorized signature to deliver the product. I had to wait couple extra days... well, “nobody is perfect”.

If you like smoke flavor, you'll love this. It's definitely not made to be used in Persian food -- which was my intended use. The eggplant itself is fine.

easy to use. I make a curry dip with egg plant, artichoke hearts and cheese. the courts is tasty and no where near the pain to puree it into the mix

Item arrived in a mailing envelope which was filled with the contents of the jar , who packaged ajar in an envelope, would love a refund but don't think I can honestly ship the envelope back to Amazon. The goop did have a lovely grilled scent and probably would have tasted pretty nice.

Got this to make Baba Ganoush. I'll never go back to baking and stripping eggplants again. Tastes wonderful!
