Liked the price and how versatile the size is for a smaller bowl. Dishwasher safe and doesn't stain.

I decided to replace our Ikea children plastic bowls we had because they were getting soap residue left on them from the dishwasher. I really liked that the bowls are durable, stackable and take up very little shelf space. These Corelle bowls are actually labelled as rice bowls on the box and that is a very good description as they look similar to what you would get from an Asian restaurant for a single rice order. They are very small in diameter and have much deeper sides which is why they are the same 12 oz as my old bowls. They are best for small snacks like cut up fruit, cheeses and nuts. I like their size but I decided to also purchase some Corelle 16 oz bowls that have a larger diameter much closer to the Ikea ones we enjoyed.. I prefer having different colors for our 7 year old, but these are nice and clean looking. I like that they will last for years, are easy to clean, and that the material isn't plastic. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase...it's hard to go wrong with Corelle.

Great for+ Soups+ Desserts+ Snacks+ Fruit+ Rice+ YogurtI love these bowls, and I use them ALL THE TIME. They are durable, easy to clean, and super lightweight. They are my go-to bowls whenever I just want to munch on a little bowl of grapes or nuts. They are great for ice cream. I also love these bowls for serving rice -- it makes the perfect serving size. I need to order another set because i'm always waiting for them to come out of the dish washer.

I've become a huge fan of Corelle products and just I would have discovered them 30- years ago. The four things that stand out about these bowls are durability, non-toxic, thinness, which subsequently results in them being extremely lightweight.Unlike traditional stoneware or porcelain, Corelle dinnerware is extremely durable and resists cracking or breaking. Sure, melamine plastic tableware will be tougher, but is also potentially toxic and leaches into the human body.Because they are extremely thin, Corelle dinnerware stacks way easier and takes up far less space in my cupboards. As a result, it's easier to grab an entire stack of 20+ bowls for holidays without risk of dropping them.

I spent around $200 on Correlle products, mainly the winter frost white items. I like them because they are durable and microwave safe vs. ceramic and melamine. The downside on these items are they seem to be hotter faster than the average containers, very high heat transfer rate. Also, they make louder echoing noise as compared to other brands I have had. I hope Corelle will have their R&D department look into that; it would be perfect once they fix the two negatives above.

These are the perfect size for deserts and snacks etc. They are so cute and so durable. Worth the price.
