A great set of 8 hexagon dies with a stitched edge type detail. They come attached together so you need to twist each one to break them apart. I then use pliers to break off the little bits of metal where they were joined together. They run through both my Cuttlebug & Sizzix die cutting machines & give a brilliant crisp cut. Second photo shows one of the hexagons used to decorate a gift box. Great value for money.

Although I have a brilliant sewing machine, I still like making hexagon patchwork items.My uncle, who had access to sheet metal, made me a solid 3" diameter hexagon as a template. I used it for years, but drawing around it, then cutting it out left a certain amount of human error and sometimes they ended up different sizes, slightly.When I bought my Sissex machine, I decided to buy hexagonal dies, and see how it worked out. Ok, you can only make one of two at a time, depending on the thickness of the card, but it totally negated the human errors with drawing and cutting. It also made joining the fabric hexagons together much easier, because they were all the same size. No trying to stretch it an extra few mm, or shorten it without scrubbing the fabric. I was so pleased, I bought a square did set too. The does are time saving and the results are quite dramatic and pleasing. I have now purchased equilateral triangles, but I haven't attempted those as I am making a hexagonal patchwork throw!!

Great for the price
