Great size works well keeps things cold

Fires in 2020 swept through our part of Oregon and destroyed houses all the way to the turn off of our street. We were lucky that our house was standing. There were burnt leaves littering our yard and waves of burnt pine needles in our driveway, like some hellish pattern left in beach sand. Sadly, we were just about to start canning plum and berry jam. The berries were frozen from summer and the plums were freshly picked in boxes in the garage (the last plums our old tree gave us). The stench of ash and soot we had to get out of the carpet was nothing compared to the foul odor in the garage as the remaining 10*5-gallon+ buckets worth of plums had fermented into stinky alcohol balloons covered in mold and several dozen gallons of berries were reduced to sauce, mixed with rotting meat from the old upright freezer. 16 days of no power at it's finest.After frantically looking for a new freezer for our family and noticing the price gouge every other store, website, and brand presented us, we decided that it might be best to downgrade to a smaller freezer and give this one a try. They were available and not price gouging when no other company can claim the same. Also, it's small and portable enough that if we decide to move soon we can unplug and take it with us easily, as this this stays frozen for a very long time. Honestly, I doubt we would have had to clean the unspeakable grime had we owned this thing sooner. It is not loud and holds a surprising amount. I was worried it may arrive dented, as a few others mentioned, but it thankfully did not, and the packaging was fairly protective on the sides and top (although not very well protected from underneath, this didn't cause any problems... but was difficult to move with a hand truck). The feet adjust to level very easily and it is short enough that even my 4'10" grandmother can get stuff out from the bottom fairly easily. The only downside is that it is not frost-free, which is a hassle in our humidity but I don't very as a problem since frost-free units tend have issues. The seal on this freezer works very well and the door is not heavy, nor does it have too much suction making it difficult to open, in simply creates enough to seal closed.I would suggest this freezer for temporary storage for hunting or moving house, patio entertaining, small family/single adult, or even just small apartment unit. Consider investing in some small baskets for inside as bags and small boxes get tedious to move around to find things below. I also suggest keeping it in a better lit area or mounting a small LED on the wall or ceiling above the unit, as it doesn't have a built in light, this is not a downside imo because the more all-in-one an appliance tries to be, the more often it breaks and or needs maintenance. This way, I can choose to use an LED instead of a hot, expensive lamp built into the freezer.

I bought this freezer 2 years ago. I feed my dog raw food so I need it to stay frozen for safety. This freezer has been in my garage for 2 years and has kept her food perfectly frozen the entire time. Even during some of our hottest summers on record it has no problems. I didn’t notice any significant increase on my energy bill and I have never really noticed noise coming from it when I am out doing yard work. There is never cold air coming out from around the seals. Her food comes in 5lb tubes and I usually have about 20-30 tubes when I restock. It also has space for other items even when fully stocked with dog food.

I rarely write reviews, and much less negative reviews. I purchased this item on October 16, 2020. I received it in a timely manner, plugged it in, it cooled nicely and worked very well up until probably yesterday. Today, Easter, April 4, 2021, not quite 6 months after it’s purchase, I went to get something out of it and everything was thawed and ruined. I had to throw out the entire contents of a 7 cu ft freezer. What a waste. The foods and meats were costly but so was the freezer! Not worth it lasting less than 6 months. I have two other freezers, one is the smaller version of this brand that I purchased a month earlier. The other is a 12 cu ft that Frigidaire that I’ve had for ten years. Now I’ll have to keep a close eye on the other one I have that is the same brand as this one that failed. I wouldn’t recommend taking a chance on buying this brand to anyone.

I jaf been trying to get a freezer since March , so I was excited when I got the alert from Amazon that the one on my wishlist was available. I ordered it right away, then was very happy when it arrived earlier than anticipated. As you can see on the third pic , it was dinged a bit but I wasn't going to let that concern me as long as it worked, and it does , just fine . I'm very satisfied wit my now full freezer. I make Amazon purchases at least once a month and so far I've had no complaints . I recommend them for great prices , quality merchandise,and speedy delivery. I love Amazon.

Ive had this freezer since Oct 2020 and it’s been great from day one! I am only writing this review so late because I don’t know where exactly the manual is so i can find out the best way to defrost it so Im just getting the model # info from my Amazon history so i can find the manual online. I have had it almost 4 years now and this is my first time having to defrost it. It’s definitely a great freezer to store in the garage (if your region doesn’t exceed temperature standards for the freezer) and is great for single people or small families. If it ever goes out, I’ll definitely try to find another on exactly like it to buy because the price I paid for it for years ago, I’ve surely got my money’s worth by now!

We've had ours for a very long time. No problems with it. You can even adjust the temperature on it, and save on electricity. It has the 3 prong plug.
