Works perfectly fine. Makes a little louder noise than oem. Non issue. Use a small drIll bit (clockwise) to get the rolled pins out.

Amazing Fix
With this motor I was able to fix my 2010 CL300 that did not want to start. The dealer wanted 2K to fix this issue after a few hours on you tube and this little motor I was able to fix the issue and saved me tons of money. The job of course took me approx. 4-5 hours to do.

So this part is good but it didn't help me in the situation.
The motor was working but apparently that wasn't the problem I had the whole circuit was damaged on the steering lock system.

Exactly what I needed
2009 C300 w204Steering wheel wouldn't unlock and stopped recognizing my key. Saw the dealer option was over $1000 but most people recommend just this motor. Not the easiest thing to install but totally doable even for beginners. It is significantly louder than the old one, but that's probably because it was on its way out

Time consuming but well worth the savings of $1000 plus going to dealership to fix
