Rubber-Cal Coin-Grip Flooring and Rolling Mat

This mat was a life saver for me. I have been unable to fully potty train my dogs, so I needed to set up an area to keep them while I am at work. I set up a 4 ft x 8 ft dog pin in a bedroom and used one of these 4 ft x 8 ft rubber mats to cover the carpet inside the pin. It was cut to the exact size as advertised and has worked perfect for keeping the carpet from getting dirty when the dogs miss the potty pads.I tried out a waterproof vinyl table top cover first, but it was not strong enough. My dogs' nails pierced holes through it, but this rubber mat is sturdy enough, and there is no way that their nails are going through it.I had no problem with any super strong bad smells with this product. Although, to be fair, I have a fan installed in a window above the dog pin that constantly blows air out of the room and another window slightly opened in order to pull fresh air in. So, any bad smell is constantly being sucked out of the room to keep it from smelling bad when they go potty while I'm not home. With that being said, I still do not recall an extremely strong smell associated with the mat when I first opened it.I received my rubber mat on March 26th, 2016. It is now May 11th, 2016, and it has been holding up great.

This is a top quality product! Not flimsy or defective in any way. Have this laid out on living room floor, so that when dogs jump off couch they don’t go sliding across the room! This is serving a duel purpose. The flooring stays cool with air on, so they love lying on it!

This was so easy to install. I liked the fact you didn't have to lay out in the sun to make it easy to work with. So easy had it down on the floor of my toy hauler in minutes.

Was advertised to be non-slip when wet so decided to use on the front deck of my fishing boat. It was thick enough, right color, and easy to cut with a new blade on a razor knife. Got the 4' X 8' size and was plenty of material.Have also used material like this to cover the top of a mechanics toolbox. It is easy to clean, oil resistant, works as padding, and keeps parts you are working on, from sliding around. it did not however, go around bends and edges well. Worked for flat and used several types of adhesives that seemed nothing worked well for that purposed. It does kind of "bubble" up slightly when it gets hot in the sun.

This product is durable but has two main problems. Problem #1 is that it smells like chemicals and definitely off-gasses. I scrubbed the surface with dish soap and water after installing it on the floor of my van, it diminished the smell a decent amount but after a year of use, when the van sits for a few days it still smells. Problem #2 is the backside of the material is very slick and very difficult to glue down. I tried a few different methods. Vinyl flooring adhesive, heavy-duty contact cement and even applied a construction adhesive with a 1/8" notch trowel. the first two methods peeled easily even with proper application. The construction adhesive held the best but is not as strong as I would like it to be. This material is of low quality. You should buy Coin Flooring from RecPro.com, it has a very low odor and has a flet-like linning on the backside for a very strong bond. RecPro Rolls are 8' wide and ship free.See Photos

It shrinks once it gets hot. So if you buy it cut a a inch bigger.

Nice rubber floor mat. Can be cut to size/shape with a utility knife. I use it as a rear trunk mat for my 2016 Ford Explorer when the third row seats are folded to prevent the carpeting from getting stained when I want to carry large or "dirty" items.

When I saw this product, I wasn’t sure how good it would be, but it’s awesome!! It is mouldable, easy to cut, and the grip it’s great!!! I would recommend this to anyone, and would definitely buy it again.
