Purchased this product to create a small bulletin board in front of my desk. Needed to be stick on and sturdy enough for push pin use. It fit the bill and then some. The density and quality of the cork is perfect. Be careful to follow the instructions for application! The adhesive is not forgiving!! When you apply it, it's there to stay!! Looks and works Great!! I highly recommend it!!

Of the several products that are similar these seemed to be the most cost effective. We had to fill kiosks of various dimensions to pin posters and these fit the bill. The 1/4 inch thickness is needed for firm pinning. We cut the sheets to fill slots and found that that is a little tricky since new edges can end up crumbly. Tech rep suggested using new razor in box cutter and putting cork between two solid pieces to get cleanest cut with one on top a solid long straight edge to guide cut. Adhesive squares were easy to install but need to use technique of applying one side to cork while leaving paper on other side and do this for all 4-5 squares and then pull off paper and apply to backboard. My experience with thinner corks is that pins do not get held strongly and heavier items fall off or push pins do not go all the way in.

I bought 4 packs and stuck them to a wall. They kept up there for a little while but then started falling off.It is very strong coz couple of them stuck on the floor and was very hard to get off. Still have thick sticky marks on the floor.I tried another wall after it fell off and was very strong. So why that particular wall it didn't work I have no ideaBut the company has super nice customer service they offered to send me another pack (still waiting for it to get delivered) for the ruined ones and gave me ideas for how to restick it on the wall.The boards are thick and strong and the sticky back is very strong.

I used this to cover the wall behind a dart board. I like the 1/2 thickness and quality. Some very slight variation in the darkness of color with one or two tiles, but that should even out with exposure to light. The stickiness of the back of tiles is okay, but I wanted to be sure it wouldn’t loosen up anywhere, so I added loctite construction adhesive to the back of each tile. Happy with the result and confident it will hold up well.

I really scoured reviews before deciding on these ones and they did not disappoint. I followed the directions exactly re: spraying down with diluted alcohol and wiping thoroughly before adhering and as far as I can tell they are really on there (surface in question is the back of a bookcase my brother-in-law built me that is solid wood with 2 coats of eggshell finish paint.) Rest assured this review will be updated if they do fall down because I will be sorely disappointed if my enamel pin collection takes a tumble!They are exactly 1/2" deep and I didn't check the dimensions but all 4 squares I got were uniform. I had to cut the last square down to fill the width of my bookcase so the 2nd pic is to show a cross-section--this is really dense, high quality cork, well worth the few extra bucks.

I'm glad I bought these tiles rather than a traditional bulletin board. This product allows me to be more creative with my space. Each tile is very thick and adheres to the wall perfectly. These are a very good alternative to traditional bulletin boards.I am amending my review, reducing it by two stars, because the self-"adhesive" squares that come with these boards are not good quality. One of the boards refuses to stick to the wall. It fell to the ground causing some of the pins to come off which is not good when you have a cat who likes to eat anything. A corner of the board dislodged in the fall. I noticed this morning that on another board, a corner of it was coming loose from the wall. I pressed it HARD back on the wall.I have several other objects (picture frames) stuck to the wall, and they have stayed in place just fine.Either these cork boards are just too heavy for the self-"adhesive" squares, or the squares themselves are not good quality.Also, these boards break easily if they hit the ground.

I bought these tiles to make a bulletin board on my new refrigerator. I like to keep track of appointments, etc. on the side of my refrigerator where I can easily see them. These tiles are sturdy, and they are a perfect thickness. They adhere well to the somewhat bumpy surface, too. I can readily recommend them.

I would leave a no-stars if I could. ALL 12 tiles fell off of wall after first 24 hours. Then, to add to problem, adhesive wouldn't come OFF wall causing extensive paint damage.
