Spawn: Armageddon

I still remember falling in love with Spawn after reading the comic that came with my first Spawn figure. I love my dad for that.This collection restored my love of the LORE of Spawn and his universe.Amazing.

I've been a Spawn fan for years, and I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the Spawn storyline. Old ties comes to fruition and new problems begin. Highly recommended.

Well, what can I say, the Armageddon collection is certainly a fun read, however, if you're familiar with Spawn but never have read it, a few things should be mentioned. It is very different than the rest of much of the Spawn series up until this point. The book's pacing is really fast and gets faster the more it goes on. This, if I could have any complaint, is a little disheartening once the pace picks up to the point of a speed so fast that it feels rushed. While it ends on an interesting and sufficient note, it feels more like it got there too quick, you almost wish it weren't over yet because it feels a bit too convenient. Don't let me discourage you, it is a good read, just not quite what I'd have preferred in style or pacing, felt more Marvel than Spawn; things wrapped up a little too nicely.

This was a great story. I've been trying to get all caught up on spawn and this was a good starting spot.

Truly excellent, fantastic writing, amazing art and an ending I did not see coming.
