Suitable gift for a Star Wars fan!
I bought this for my 9 year old who loved it. He was able to build the set himself without assistance. The shooters actually shoot, the only downside is that the studs from the stud shooters often get lost never to be seen again, however this is a small side issue as the set itself can be used in conjunction with other Lego sets too.

Lego Kit as gift
We have a young friend who likes to build these and this was one he did not have. This became his Xmas present so worked out just fine. Pretty standard Lego kit.
