DuluxTrade Quick Dry Gloss 5L - Pure Brilliant White

Beautiful glossy paint, goes well with dulux quick dry 1, it makes it more shining!

Dulux Trade quick drying gloss paint, Pure Brilliant White (5L).Really excellent paint which I have used many times over the last thirty years or so. It provides good coverage and where many gloss paints would need three to five coats this would need two or if the colour change is extreme maybe three. This saves a lot of time. The quick-dry varieties cost more but they are truly quick drying, and produce much less in the way of fumes. The fumes and smell of the paint also dies away quicker. This is important for the job I was doing because I was doing some work in the home of a friend who is highly susceptible to fumes and chemicals. If you have a similar need get this quick-dry gloss.This paint does have a down-side, and that is the reputation it has for being extra difficult to get a decent finish. It is harder than most gloss paints because it dries really fast and so becomes tacky very quickly. That means you have apply it fairly quickly and without going over areas already painted or it will stick to your brush and rough up. You also have to put plenty of paint on in each coat, not spread it thinly or once again it will become tacky and rough up badly. If in doubt buy an oil based gloss because it will be a lot easier to apply cleanly.It is easier to clean up with the brushes needing a good wash and rinse several times, but in washing up liquid rather than the usual white spirit or other strong chemicals. As long as the surface is properly prepared the finish is excellent, smooth and glossy and yes, brilliant white. I definitely recommend this paint.

This paint was great as it was quick drying and brilliant white. You have watch for drips a bit whist painting but the paint went a long way. I was surprised how much I managed to cover with just one tin of paint as I am doing the whole house, with lots of doors!

Best finish for a water based paint.

Very good bit runny but the finish is excellent and you can wash ya brush just what is says on tin.

Nice white gloss but you always get brush strokes. Expensive too.
