Not a dull moment!
There is a lot that can be said for Jennifer Nielsen's books. Now that this series has been completely released, it is the perfect time to read it if you haven't already. It seemed like so long since I had read books one and two in this series that I had to re-read them before I read book three, Wrath of the Storm. I am so glad I did! This author writes so complex-ly that there is a ton I had forgotten and would have missed out on. These books are not books you can skim through, because EVERY word matters. The author will write a simple sentence but it is anything but simple. There is always meaning in the way Jennifer writes that when you go back, you let out an "ah-ha" that you finally caught up to what she was trying to tell you. I truly can not adequately express the completeness of this story/series that was plotted out so thoroughly that there are no words! You just know this author is exceptionally talented in what she does.Oh course, I have to say that her False Prince series is my all-time favorite but this series is a CLOSE second. I love that both had strong male and female leads and that they are told in the first person. It really gives a lot more investment as a reader to get the emotions and heart right from the main character. Wrath of the Storm was slightly more intense with Nic's looming death on every page and definitely had my heart racing. And, hey, I am 45 years old, not a middle grade student, and I absolutely loved it. This story is equally written for boy or girl readers and does not disappoint. I have already started lending out my copies to kids and they have all given this series two HUGE thumbs up! Well done!

Wrath of the Storm
This trilogy was AMAZING! I love Jennifer's writing style, and even though I am well past the age this series was written for, I enjoyed each and every second. This book sums up the series nicely. There is non-stop action from beginning to end with hardly room to breathe. Nic has the weight of Rome on his shoulders and so many obstacles in his way. Will he be able to defeat Brutus and the Praetors, and will he create the Jupiter Stone? I'm not telling! I fell head over heels for so many of these characters and was so sad to see it end. I can't wait to see what Jennifer is up to next, and hope I won't have to wait too long! Highly recommended.

Great finish to a fantastic series!!
Wrath of the Storm is the third book in the Mark of the Thief series. Having read all the books in this trilogy I was very satisfied with the ending of this book and the series. It was quite the thrilling ride getting there though!Nic was awesome as always, looking out for the world. Loved the battle scenes. There was a lot more romance in this book then previously but it was also "angsty" and a bit awkward. The politics in this story actually gave nice conflict that gave greater depth to the plot.I recommend this story and series to fans of fantasy, mythology, and ancient Rome!

a Night Divided was my favorite. While she writes enjoyable stories
I have read almost all of Jennifer A. Nielsen's books, a Night Divided was my favorite. While she writes enjoyable stories, intended for middle schoolers, I find them fun to read. My middle school aged daughter enjoys reading them also. This book did not let me down. This series is an enjoyable adventure set in ancient Rome. This is the final book of the series and I thought it had a good conclusion. I thought the second in the book was the weakest and this one brought the series back on track.

Great read
This book was a very satisfactory end to a great series. This book is an awesome read for anyone looking for an adventurous story with ups and downs. It also keeps you reading not knowing just how the end might turn out. I also recommendation the first two books of the series strongly before this one.

What an end. I will miss this
Wow and wow again. I completely enjoyed this wild cruel, beautiful journey to its end. Compliments to Ms Neilson for this adventure. I will not forget Nic. And look for him in Britannia. Thank you

Great juvenile literature in the vein of Rick Riordan
Great juvenile literature in the vein of Rick Riordan. Not quite as funny, but the main character is lovable and she stays away from too much lovey-dovey stuff. My son devoured the trilogy in short order!

Mark of the thief
The series is fantastic. Perfect for teens and young adults, whether they are already fond of mythology or not. They definitely will be when closing the last book.
