Solid and Dependable
This is a my 2nd purchase of this model UPS. I usually use this for Amateur Radio equipment on Field Day between the radios and a diesel Genset. I bought a 2nd one because we have added radios this year and we needed to use another leg of the AC power from the Genset to balance the loads. Although it is listed as a Basic Model, it has a USB port for PC monitoring software that brings it up a notch. The software is provided free of charge. I am very pleased with the UPS operation.

Good badic UPS
Seems to be a quality unit...I needed a higher capacity for my old Windows home server and one other PC. Plenty of outlets. My only rub is the UPS software doesn't seem to run on my ancient WHS. Right now, it's not configured to shut down the server, but at least short outages should be easily handled. Also, it was reasonably priced and compact sized.

Well worth it
Absolute lifesaver for the PS5 and tv. I live in a home in the mountains and the electricity is always flicking on and off and even surging at times; just poor power lines and the company feels no need to fix them. So it was left up to me to find something to save my expensive items from becoming a casuality to the power issues. This small machine works perfectly to keep my sister in laws PS5 and tv from going off when the power just casually flickers off and then back on, and she now never even knows that we had a power outage. If we ever lose power completely, this UPS will give her plenty of time to safely turn off her system without messing it up, as the battery life is anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour after power loss. It also has a light that comes on and tells you if you are not getting the full 120v to your outlet that you need. This is well worth the small amount of money to keep your things from getting messed up. Super easy to use and understand.

Definitely Basic
Item description is in its name - Basic. I have two - one dedicated to my Terramaster NAS and the other dedicated to my desktop PC. The user manual is helpful in setup and operation of the units. The software they tell you to download is free, but sketchy and not easy to use. My Windows 11 complained when I tried to install and use it; first I had to make an exception just to run the setup, then I had to make an exception to run the software; the software runs from a web browser and windows didn't like its certificate credentials. I ditched that software and downloaded CyperPower's Power Panel Personal software - also free for a single UPS. You can use their Cloud service for a very modest fee for personal use. Their software is a stand alone app, so no browser needed. The units themselves only have a USB port for communication. I have one plugged in to my PC and can monitor it anytime. The one for my NAS is plugged into one of its USB ports, but I don't have the same ability to monitor the UPS; Terramaster's software will alert me of power outages and lost communication, so that'll have to do. I've noticed other UPS systems have multiple ports for communication, so again - these UPS's are "Basic". I haven't seen them in action yet other than unplugging them while everything is running, but they seem to do the trick. They're also line interactive - they can "smooth out" minor power fluctuations without switching to the battery. I bought mine because we have weird power surges and outages that only seem to affect my immediate neighborhood - not often, but enough. Storm and weather outages are in addition to that. The UPS software has the ability to safely power down a connected PC when it switches to battery for a user defined amount of time. My Terramaster NAS software does the same, but on it's own accord - no configuration interface that I know of. I rated 4 stars because of the sketchy, browser based software. These UPS's are basic, but I knew what I was getting when I bought them and they're are doing the job. One last thing - Amazon shipped them separately and they were both shipped upside down in the shipping box. I sent them back because of that (and Amazon dropped the price after my purchase). The replacements they sent were also shipped upside down and the driver laid them on their sides to boot.

Great back-up for brief power outages
This UPS was only an inch wider than the regular surge protector we already had, so it fit behind the entertainment unit with no issue and it isn't even noticable. The TV, DVR, and amplifier are all connected to it and the day after the UPS was installed, we had a 2 second brown-out. While not a big deal, the DVR and TV stayed on, so we didn't have to wait for both of them to reboot. Overall, I would recommend this UPS.

Does not run anywhere near as long as Power Master software says it will.
This does not work as well as expected. The first picture shows it's 100% charged and should handle the current load for 1hr and 17 minutes. The second picture shows it was unplugged at 2:12 PM to simulate a power failure and then it changed to 66% capacity and said it would run for 56 minutes. The third picture shows it shut down at 2:37 PM. It only went 25 minutes when it predicted 1hr 17 minutes. It stayed at the 66% capacity for around 20 minutes and then once the capacity was below 50% it dropped rapidly and then shutdown. I have a different UPS and I wanted a second one. I don't think I'm allowed to name the older one. The older one is 5.5 years old and it would run for over an hour when new and after 5.5 years it would run for 45 minutes. I got new batteries for the older one and with a full charge it said it would run 67 minutes. When I unplugged it it ran for 1 hour and indicated it could go for another 31 minutes. I'm pretty sure my older unit and this unit use the same batteries. It's powering a Lorex camera system with 16 cameras. This unit comes with something called Power Master which was used for the screen shots of the pictures provided. Power Master was annoying because it required a password and how to find the password was not well documented. I guess they have a problem rogue people wanting to monitor power usage so they had to password protect it.

Peace of mind having this
I needed surge protection and backup power for my small server that runs 24 hours a day. It has three protection setting. I put it on the most sensitive setting. The other day we had a bad thunderstorm come through, and this thing did great. As soon as it sensed a fluctuation in voltage it activated and protect my computer. It fits on my desktop perfectly and looks nice too. Setup is easy. Just plug it in and plugged my devices in. The ones that I wanted to have surge and UPS protection I plugged in one side and the devices that only needed surge protection I plugged into the other. Switching between protection modes is as easy as pushing a button. This thing gives me piece of mind. It makes no noise other than if it switches to to battery backup you can hear the solenoid click momentarily.

Actually built by CyberPower
It seems like a solid unit. These are actually built by Cyberpower, which uses the Cyberpower Powerpanel program to connect to Windows. The courier Intelcom delivered this to the wrong house. Thankfully, amazon was able to send a 2nd one out and I didn't have to fight with them or anything! It can be set up to turn off your pc automatically after a power outage, after it turns your pc off it will also shutdown the UPS about a minute after. Once power comes back on the UPS will automatically turn back on and if you have your PC setup accordingly in the BIOS your PC will also turn on automatically. One thing about this unit is if the battery of the UPS goes to 0% it will not turn back on automatically. But you shouldn't be draining it to 0% anyway. However, on my UnRaid server, I could not get this functionality to work. I can get it to turn off the server but not shutdown the UPS; as a result, I would have to manually turn on the server. It recognizes the UPS; I tried built-in UPS functionality and NUTS for the server, but neither worked. It works perfect on Windows though. I get about 50 mins of runtime on my PC if idling or browsing the web. Id recommend this UPS as long as your not wanting it to shutdown and restart non-windows servers, for anything windows it works great.

Works like a charm
The breaker for my room blows all the time, so my computer shuts off suddenly. I'm in the habit af saving thing as I go, fortunately, but only because of how lousy the wiring is. This APU is outstanding. After I got it, I charged it for a few days and plugged all my equipment into it. We threw the breaker to test it and there wasn't even a blip on my screen. No indication the power went out other than my clock turned off. Highly recommend.

Good unit at the old price
Good emergency PSU, but ... I paid $194.54 CAD then one week later the price dropped at something like $175, then now it is $318.25 +tx. At the actual price, I wouldn't have bought it, much much too expensive compared to other well know units ( I have one), with 1000W including a display with more outputs.
