After a I ordered the wrong screen this one did the trick. I had trouble getting the touch screen to read. I noticed that I forgot to take off the protective cover on the inside. Once removed I had trouble getting the screen to read the swipe.It turns out I failed to install the ribbon correctly. The ribbon from the screen has to be set just right on the circuit board. Fixed it and now the kindle is working great.

This is my second purchase of this item and both times it has been very successful...extremely thankful for the care in packaging and that the screen works perfectly!

This screen was fine, but getting the old screen off the frame was really difficult. The tool kit that came with the order broke, so it was barely good for a single use. Upon reassembly, the LCD shows a negative image for some reason. I don't think this is the fault of the glass, but there were zero instructions, and it took so long to remove it that reassembling the unit involved some guesswork. As I can't take it apart again due to broken plastic tools, I have a messed up KF. The reason this review is low is because they should include the plastic trim so that you do not have to try to reuse the old one. By the time I fixed it all, I could have purchased a new KF of the same generation for less money.

this is the original Kindle Fire glass I just changed mine because it was shattered it's easy to do don't forget to buy the double-sided tape but this class work with Mike and thank you

This touch screen was responsive and in great condition. Installation was a snap with double sided tape already connected.

The digitizer has a bad spot. Touching the letter "t" on the portrait keyboard does not work and initiates the "r" and " y" keys to either side. Not sure what to do now since you have to completely shatter the digitizer to remove it making a return impossible.

I ordered the 2013 screen and received the 2014 screen. There is no front camera on the 2013 screen which is what I wanted. Shipping was faster than expected however I received the wrong item. Maybe they will get it right the next time.

I am very happy. My kindle works and it was the right glass
