Once you read the first page before you know it you are finished and I love Mallory books!! Such a good book

Love this series for my 4th grader!

Great book. I haven't truly felt for a character in a book in probably a long time. But Mallory having her New Year plans thwarted by her appendix really got to me! This series is truly a good one. I just don't like when they overdo it with the "so, so, so,really, really,really" stuff and the constant "W.B.A.I.T.T.M.(write back after I talk to Maryann)" stuff. I also don't like the little story/recaps that she writes in the middle of the book. But I guess it would help kids somewhat. Real life lessons in this series. Wow, this family goes hard on the carbs, don't they! If anyone is reading this and thinks I'm being too picky, it's probably just because the series is SO good that it's easier to pick out the flaws. I'm glad I found it. It's a real go-to series. I wouldn't recommend reading too many in a row. Pace yourself. There are plenty to chose from.

I love this book's way of Mallory showing a lot of virtue's while her good friends and family are allthere. I think she is showing a lot of flexibility.
