Colonial Needle Dressmaker Pin Bulk Pack, Size 17 Steel, 1-1/16 Inches

There is something in these pins or coded with some toxic substance. After opening the box & making one ornament my lip & mouth swelled from holding a few pins in my mouth. We had to call 911 & have the EMT's. After 2 days on medication the swelling went down.

I use a lot of pins in my crafts, and this was a great way to get them - a big ol' honking box of pins!There is not a lot you can really say about straight pins, but I'll try.They have a coating on them, so they will not rust, leaving stains on your items or clothing.There is also a little bag of damp-absorber in each box, so there is no condensation in the box from the metals.I've been using this brand for about a year now, and have not found one that I like better. Prym pins are perfect for my crafting needs.

Saves me a bunch of money (and empty plastic boxes) over buying the boxes of 750 needles in the store. A box of these will last me about three weeks whereas I was going through about two or three of the 750 pin boxes a week making Christmas ornaments.

I use these pIns to make my no sew quilted ornaments and need to buy them in bulk. ThesepIns have never failed and there may be only a couple with blunt ends that can’t be used. Also, the price is reasonable.

Disappointed. I only received a half pound when it was advertised as 1lb of pins. Had to peel back the label to reveal the actual weight.. so NOT 5000 pins.

Great pins glad to have so many at one time, got tired of buying only hundreds at a time, I believe there are over 4,500 to 5,000 in this box, did come across a few so far not sharpened, but good for sewing and crafting

This is a LOT of pins! Will be perfect for my purposes(a folded fabric ball ornament that needs a bazillion pins for each one),also for anyone looking for sewing class supplies.
