NOT a tablet with a big display - rather it's a FIXED set of apps !
FIRST note I purchased this from Amazon Warehouse for less than £75.First Review .."And at that price it's 4*. But NOT at the full price of £140 or so. At the higher price I woud rate it at 1 or 2*, there are MUCH better TV's in that price bracket."STOP PRESS - I've since found that there is NO WAY to download new apps. (the Download Manager just says 'no download records'). So you are stuck with those they have decided to 'offer' (in my case none are actually installed - they auto-download when first used). Hence downgrade to 1*SO DISREGARD what I say about WhatsApp and Skype - these are NOT offered (under 'Lifestyle' you get a choice of Twitter, Instagram and Facebook), although YouTube is offered and does work.FURTHER Plex is not an option and, since you can't download other apps. the ONLY way 'in' is via Screen Mirroring (which is a hit, or very more often a miss affair as it keeps dropping WiFi). The (built in, unable to replace) 'media player' will only play from USB devices (will not link to wifi or ethernet)Below is my original Review ...Perhaps because I had a 'return' there were no 'apps' installed, however that was of no interest to me, I just wanted a 'display / repeater' to run from my home multimedia system / social media calls (What'sApp and Skype)So the Ethernet socket was the big plus for me plus I knew I could downlad whatever app. I needed (should the built-in player refuse to co-operate). - Update - NO I CAN'T - only their fixed choices of apps. are offered. It also has 'Screen Mirroring' on WiFi which auto detected my home SSID. Mirroring, I can confirm, DOES work - but ONLY from my Windows 10/11 PC's !! This is odd, given that it's really just an Android tablet with a big display, but no matter what 'apps' I downloaded on my various android smart phone/tablets none could 'see' this TV (some apps could see my Amazon Fire stick, most just said 'no devices found' or displayed a blank window). However since my Media Server is based on a PC, that's not a problem.NB. in this context - after leaving it 'ready to connect' for a while it disconnected itsef from my home WiFi !!Some sort of silly 'power save' function perhaps BUT I only realised this on the 'Screen Mirroring' option when it stopped saying 'time out - do you want to retry' (i.e. it looked as if it was 'Ready for connection' but had actuallly totally given up without saying anything).Whatever = for the task I really needed it for, it worked well (UPDATE - only via Mirroring, which does NOT work well) , but with some notes ....It's 'HD ready' i.e. 720p not 1080, although the picture looks decent and is nice and bright and fine for viewing from a few feet away on the kitchen worktop (and YouTube is not going to give (me) full HD anyway)Yes, the built in speakers are rather (very) poor, but adequate enough for YouTube clips. It has a digital optical output, as well as a analogue headphone socket (which you could use with a sound bar) if you want HiFi.Also, it does have 2 x USB sockets, but one's needed for the remote, and no you can't remove the 'dongle' for the remote because there are no controls on the TV itself (i.e no remote, no operation).Buttons are quick acting ... right up to the point where you are tempted to press the buttons a bit too quickly one after the other - and the display locks up. Leave it a few miniutes and press 'Smart' and it MIGHT go back to the main menu - often it needs a total power-cycle (pull the power plug) before it will recover.Final note - it says you can plug a Thumb drive / hard drive into the USB socket (up to 1Tb) and, in effect, use it has a DVR i.e. record the TV program to the drive to pause and time slip playback. But I can't say if this actually works (I'll update this review if I get a chance later)

Great energy rating, everything else, not so much.
I wanted a small tv for my sons room after I accidentally broke his (oops) so I scoured the internet for a decent tv for him but all that I looked at were very low down on the energy rating scale and I was determined to get one that was a or a+, surprisingly hard to come by. I found this and the price was good so I bought it. Setting it up was very frustrating. I downloaded YouTube, Netflix and Disney plus. The Netflix app was really cool, there is a cursor button on the remote that lets you aim and click things like a mouse which obviously amazed my six year old son. I soon realised the sound quality was very poor so bought a sound bar for it. After a couple of weeks the mouse/cursor button stopped working, making it impossible to watch Netflix as there is no alternative way to navigate. Also the description says there is two HDMI ports, however there is only one. All in all, it’s a functional television for £150 so perfect if you’re on a budget but bare in mind it will most likely require accessories. Such as a sound bar and Amazon fire tv stick.

advert was incorrect
i unpack the TV today and was setting it up to find it only had 1 of the 2 hdmi ports on looking further , although the add says it has 2 USB ports (it does) it actually only has one as the wifi dongle for the remote control has use of the other, i find the picture quality is good, the sound is a bit quiet and tinny. i will comment on the rest of the tv once gone through it properly

Lack of quality
Sound quality tinny and lacks clarity despite options.Remote control hit and miss and does not line up withTV.Using keyboard to sign in very frustrating as need to point remote at wall to hit correct keys and jumps to next step before finishing!!!

Very easy to set up. From a customer who is a techno nerd.
When I came across this item I was impressed by the range of opportunities it could be used for. However , I was put off by the adverse comments of some of the reviews , in particular , there seemed to be a high proportion of customers who had returned the product. I am always wary of reviews and tend not to believe until I have seen for myself. This turned out to be a case in point. I have struggled over the years to set up technical items such as TVs and Computers and frequently having to revert to the suppliers. With this item , it was very simple and I had it set up in a matter of a few minutes. To my great joy!I was especially impressed that the wi-fi connection from my router was picked up by this TV without me having to enter media information and/or passwords.
