Prodigal Son (TCG Edition)

I've never really gotten Shanley's early plays (Savage in Limbo; Danny and the Deep Blue Sea), but after reading this autobiographical play, I do. This play, makes me understand how his Bronx, Catholic upbringing combined with his poetry of fury blends in his characters.

My son loved it

Saw clips of the play on Youtube. This is a really interesting read, it feels like Dead Poet's Society, but more hopeful lol.

i went to that school with the author, and it sure plays right. a good read, subtle but obvious. enjoy

This play really packs a punch. So much food for thought and a twist I won’t forget. Remarkable talent indeed.
