Petticoat Junction: Seasons 1-3

One feels the need to watch his favorite shows without any commercial breaks to interrupt them. The Petticoat Junction DVDs were made with this in mind. Besides this, the series furnishes plenty of laughs, and viewers can pause the shows at any time, and continue where they left off, and miss nothing. I recommend Petticoat Junction as an example of great entertainment, as well as an escape from the grim news of the day.

Gunilla Hutton (Billie Jo), Lori Saunders (Bobbie Jo), Linda Kaye Henning (Betty Jo).Season 4-7....... Meredith MacRae (Billie Jo), Lori Saunders (Bobbie Jo), Linda Kaye Henning (Betty Jo)and also Season 6-7.....June Lockhart (Dr. Janet Craig), who replaced the sick Bea Benaderet (Kate) who died from lung cancer. Three seasons of Petticoat Junction with 108 episodes (74 Black & White - Seasons 1 & 2 and 34 in color - Season 3). They don't make that many episodes per season anymore. If your a big fan of this TV Show, buy the DVD "Petticoat Junction: Return To Hooterville". A trip down memory lane, with show clips, bonus clips and history from the surviving cast. To the "Television Powers That Be", you released seasons 1-3 together, now please release seasons 4-7 together. Fans of this T.V. Show (the ones that count) won't be around forever.

Fantastic! Wonderful to have all three seasons in one set, rather then each season separately. The first three seasons of the show are the best of the 7 seasons total. The first two seasons are in black and white, season three in color. Like the track listing inside the case that names each episode and what disk it is on. Works and runs really well on my US DVD player. Very happy to add this to my classic TV show collection.

Case was damaged when it was delivered. Also wish it was the complete series.

In light of the type of programming currently on television today, this is almost the exact opposite of that which is being presented by the Networks over the airways, cable, internet, etc. If you like sex and violence, sleazy crimes predicated on Lust and revenge to the hilt, fraud, political correctness and outright lies, slander, fornication, immorality, lasciviousness, debacle and all the other material of today, this is NOT for you. Maybe today it doesn't fit with the majority of the peoples physical and mental mortification, but it did 40 years ago when this country was great.IF you are one of those, you wont like it.
