Imagine every Italian grandmother and every chef from Italy all coming together to magically create a pasta sauce. This! THIS IS THEIR CREATION. It's so clean, simple and oh so fresh; eating this sauce transports you to the heavens of sauciness. You wouldn't think something that's in a jar would taste so immaculate but one spoonful and you'd think you had walked out to your own backyard garden, plucked the tomatoes straight from the vine, harvested some garlic, and grabbed some fresh basil and walked inside to make the pasta sauce from scratch. But that's not the only reason you should by this. First, it's the best value you're going to get; who wants to pay $10 for a jar of pasta sauce with a celebrity chef on it or claiming it's from remote regions of Italy. Secondly, Chris Bianco, legendary Pizza maker and owner of Pizzaria Bianco. This man was so fed up of the quality and consistency of the "tomatoes" he was getting shipped in that he straight up ENGINEERED HIS OWN TO MAKE THIS SAUCE. WHO DOES THAT? The man teamed up with organic California grower Rob Dinapoli to create a sublime tomato that would meet the standards that Chris expected. And only those tomatoes make it in this red elixir, combined with some fresh olive oil, salt, garlic and a kiss of basil makes this sauce is one of a kind.

Good but a bit sweet for my liking.

Thick tasty - delicious.

I can't believe how delicious! And since it comes in a jar, you can use it over a week's time---unlike canned.It is the key to a 15 minute delicious dinner----if you just sauté whatever vegetables you have in olive oil with garlic and then add a few tablespoons of this sauce, you have a perfect pasta sauce. It also shortcuts eggplant parmesan in half. This is the tomato sauce for people who LOVE tomato sauce in lots of things.

Good sauce

I love the product, but the packaging was terrible. One of the jars was shattered and sauce was everywhere.

Unfortunately, if you want tomato sauce, buy something else. You are buying what equates to a pasta sauce here. Bianco makes an excellent tomato sauce without the basil and whatnot, but that instead. It usually comes in a can. I got excited thinking I could buy a smaller portion, but apparently not.

So many over-complicated tomato sauces with too many ingredients and high prices. This is an awesome value, just the basic ingredients, and better quality ingredients than most others. I buy nothing else.
