LifesystemsEmergency Storm Mountain Survival Shelter for Hiking and Mountaineering

A waterproof shelter.
This is light and packs into the pocket provided, it would be a handy shelter in times of need, or even when taking a cup of tea in bad weather, I've not used it myself yet but will take it with me when hill walking.

Too small for 2 small adults.
Bought this mainly to have a shelter to eat lunch, many times we have been out walking and been caught in either wind or rain at chow time.My main gripe is everything about it is too small.I'm 5.8 my wife 5 ft. The height too low, the width too narrow, the length too short, its a shame because its a good concept, but with walking boots on and a pair of rucksacks to accommodate the tent falls down.I say tent, its more a large bag with seating flaps, which is fine provided you can get in it!We were on top of a lake district mountain when we used it for lunch, it did hold our body heat inside it to some extent, very noticeable drop in temp when we emerged, Im afraid I'm going to have to look for a larger version, the designers really need to increase the 2 man tent/bag by 50% for it to be truly viable.

Great for a tea stop
Tried this out on a rainy windy day in the peak district and it worked well. Kept 2 of us warm and dry with our dog. It was very cramped inside especially with backpacks. Only I vent hole and one window which steamed up quickly. Would be nice to have a window on both sides. We are ordering a 4 person one to fit inside more comfortably.

Safe and warm in cold windy harsh environment
It potentially saved my life while I was out hiking on the Welsh Black Mountains, Was cold and wet and 3/4 of the way to our destination when my friend had to go back and find his jacket with his keys for the van and wheel lock and also his wallet in it, It was getting dark and I was there for 45 minutes waiting for him with the wind howling, this kept me warm and safe, Very grateful I bought it last minute, it was a no brainer, Just Get It!

High quality
Convenient to unroll and repack and so can be used routinely as an occasional shelter, in addition to its intended function in an emergency.

Essential Kit
Ideal for those walking in remote locations who need a little extra piece of mind. We chose this as it is lightweight and after watching Youtube were convinced that carrying this was a good idea. We have been in a situation where one of our party broke an ankle on a walk in the Yorkshire Dales. Help can be a long time coming and shock and the weather can quickly take a dramatic toll on a casualty, I am sure that if we had carried one of these, our casualty would have been a lot safer and more comfortable. This will keep two people safe, warm and very visible if the worst should happen. I would recommend this product.
