The right man for the job
I don’t like the title, but it summarizes the content well. The author goes down the list of accusations and refutes each one: racist, stupid, homophobe, Russian puppet, Nazi, corrupt, warmonger, xenophobe, misogynist, pseudo conservative, opposed to free press, tool of the rich, climate denier, obstructed justice, pawn of the NRA, bully, isolationist, divisive and heretic. I was surprised they did not include wife beater and child abuser. But that may come later.Trump does not qualify for sainthood, but during 40 years in New York City’s prime real estate market none of these sins were discovered by the intense NYC press corps. They were miraculously discovered AFTER he became a candidate for president. Funny how that works. This book also discuses the future of the Republican Party. Is Trump the head of a wider movement, or is Trump the movement. He talks about possible successors and comes to some interesting conclusions.I became a Trump fan after he fixed the Wollman Rink in Central Park. The City closed the rink in 1980 for a 2 year renovation. After 6 years the project was nowhere. It became a local scandal since the rink was popular and very visible. Trump offered to renovate the rink in six months at cost. He did the job under budget and two months early. He proved to me then that he could do things the Democrats in City government could not.He is still doing what other people in government can’t do.

Schlichter Dismantles Common Anti-Trump Calumny
One of President Trump's most pithy—and accurate—maxims is "They're not after me, they're after you." The vile lies promulgated by the Left against the president are in most cases also aimed at his supporters. In "The 21 Biggest Lies About Donald Trump (And You!)", author Kurt Schlichter refutes the falsehoods aimed at the scores of millions of Americans who proudly support President Trump.Donald Trump has a bond with his supporters that his unique in recent presidential history. Schlichter examines that bond and the personal traits of Trump and his supporters that really rattle their opponents, including the preternatural ability not to care about invalid criticism. In an effort to stifle dissent, wound the president, and drive a wedge between him and his supporters, the Left relies on defamation and projection, but such ad hominem methods not only backfire, but only serve to radicalize those subjected to them.In refuting the 21 most common lies about Trump, Schlichter recounts incidents and issues not only from the first three years of the Trump presidency, but also from recent decades of American political history that led to Trump's takeover of the Republican Party and general election win in the first place. The author closes by opining on the post-Trump GOP and the type of leadership that will be needed to guide it successfully. "The 21 Biggest Lies" is a great read for this election season, and those who are addicted to the author's online columns can be reassured that this book is vintage Schlichter.

Good read for any deplorable
It was kind of like if the Gilmore Girls were conservative and wrote a political book. There were “pop culture” references I didn’t always get. I’m new to the deplorable basket (I only came around when I realized trump never said to inject ourselves with disinfectant and I’ve seen the truth more and more since). And when I came around to Team Trump I had people who had known me for years suddenly see me differently. One person in particular reached out saying she’d always seen me as intelligent and funny...but... what a way to start a message to a friend because they don’t agree with you politically. And then she went on to send me videos that didn’t quite make any point but they sure were woke. I digress. The book is good, the lies are indeed ones I have believed in the past and encountered personally since changing my opinion on Trump and even easier to see now that a Democrat sits in the White House (did MSM ever report on Trump winning a wii game against his granddaughter? Or how he planned to redecorate Air Force One? Nope). All I can say is - Man, I miss him!

Amazing book
This should be required reading. It's not just about the lies being told. It's a compact history lesson on what brought America to the point where someone like Trump was needed in order to get us back on track. I could not put this book down. And, amidst all the common sense is a lot of humor. One of the best books I have ever read!

laugh out loud funny
This is a laugh out loud funny talk about how twisted a perception about a sitting president can get.I so needed to laugh after the past few days of people forced out of livelihoods come on screen. The nation needs a good bath.I am looking forward to seeing great turn arounds, great wealth from an extremely prosperous nation, & these harsh days behind us.We need a moral high ground & it is coming.

Great logic; wonderful compilation of facts, plus how the Left spins their tales
The book is brutally frank in assessing the deep divide in our country. Granted, I’m a “Conservative” Independent who has been driven Right by the hideous actions of the socialist democrat party. I only learned from Jack the jerk Meacham this week that I’m “a lizard brained” CHUMP! The C word per Jackie’s candidate Joe the Masseuse Biden, corn popped hairy-legged geriatric. The book helped me understand and better tolerate my lifelong Democrat friends. So actually it’s a healing, self-help tool as well as a humorous read.Hold your nose, Libs. Read it and pray.

The Filter is full. Time to back flush
Kurt unloads the truth. Opponents of Trump and his followers disregard truth in a very strange attempt at transitive property of math, applied to people. Trump is bad. Trump has followers. Trumps followers are bad. Trump wants peace. Peace is bad. Trump wants better trade deals. Trade is bad. And, Trumps opponents are willing to lie, and count on the media to carry their water. This is a must read for Trump apologists, and a handy guide to introspection for his foes. At the very least - Trump’s opponents will know that Schlichter has a cogent counter-argument.

Excellent.
The things that struck me most were that the book was obviously written truthfully and from the heart: also it was an enlightening look at American politics for someone from England.

Wonderful hard-hitting description of Trump’s excellent qualities in 2017-2020.
Beautiful bottom-line issue analysis, great ability to strip away non-essentials, together with loads of chuckles and some laugh-out-loud moments.Let’s face it, Schlichter is a great writer and analyst.

Crashes my computer
I am sure the book is wonderful because I read part of it online, but on my device all it does is crash the computer. I have redownloaded it several times. I have been thinking about buying a Kindle reader but am now strongly reconsidering the idea.
