Sam, our Westie, suffers from atopic dermatitis and has two apoquel tablets a day which, it seems, will be for life. I also shampoo him with Douxo, both cream and in soap bar form - the bar seem more aggressive, the cream softer and has a mild coconut aroma. The condition comes in waves so when his hair starts coming out in tufts I wash him every couple of days, counting up to 300 with the lather on, then rinsing it off. It really helps, unlike the supermarket 'medicated' shampoos.However if you have any scabs on your hands (I'm often scraping my knuckles!) the shampoo can irritate it so try to put on a waterproof plaster for protection.

Used the other duxo products but this is my fav.Lasting resultsMy boy has smelt good and continues to feel really soft from using it 2 wks ago

Smells nice but my dog tended to scratch more after shampooing her, I will give it a couple of more trys and see if it works.

My dog suffers from sensitive skin and allergies. He had nibbles his fur from his 2 front legs and a patch on his back from all his itching. I was prescribed this by my vet previously so was happy to purchase online. It worked a treat. I bathed his legs once a week for 2 weeks, I left the shampoo on for 10mins a time and even after the first application the irritation has started to decrease. His legs weren’t as sore and his fur started to grow back after a few weeks. The shampoo has a lovely scent and leaves his coat so soft and shiny. I have a medium dog and have used it once to do a full body wash and now I just use what’s left on his legs and his back when he starts to itch and this seems to keep it under control. I highly recommend this shampoo. My dog had some sore spots and this didn’t seem to bother him being applied so no sting.

Used this on my very itchy dog and it seemed to soothe his itchy skin well. The only thing I didn't like was how much we had to use each bath time. He's a big dog so needed 26 pumps of shampoo - the bottle lasted 4 baths. Also, it doesn't lather up so doesn't go very far.
