It seems like working on perfectly smooth surface, any sightly rough surface will have air leak in and won't hold up anything. The headline should say it enough. These things are total pieces of garbage. The advertising states these things are slated to hold up to 22 lbs, in my experience they couldn't hold 2 ounces (set of car keys). Just to detail my experience, I prepped the wall where these would be hanging with rubbing alcohol. I wiped down the areas where these hooks were going to be installed, even waiting a few extra minutes before applying these hooks just to make sure these walls are free from moisture. Applied two hooks to my wall pressing as firmly as I could just to make sure these hooks get a good bondage. Decided I was going to wait 24 hours before attaching anything to these hooks. Unfortunately, these hooks didn't even stay on the wall 5 minutes before they fell down. Tried again...and...again...and again, with all four hooks, they just kept falling down. By comparison, a set up Command Hooks, stuck to the same wall (without any additional prepping) and were ready for use in an hour.In my opinion, probably the worst purchase I've made on Amazon, and I admit there has been a couple but this by far takes the cake. If I could give this product a review lower than 1 star, I would. Avoid at all costs is my advice to you.

I actually bought these to go on wood, because they said they would. However, the wood you put them on can not be porous. It needs to be a completely flat and smooth surface. I am currently living in an older 5th wheel and almost everything is wood that is not smooth. So these did not work out for what I'd originally wanted to use them for, but they did work out great in the shower where the walls are a flat and smooth fiberglass.

Even though it advertises as a heavy-duty, waterproof hook, I bought them to hang less than 5 lbs on glass tile over a vanity and on window of a shower stall. I was very disappointed. I don't know if I was sent a defective batch, or if the adhesive was just old, but there was very little adhesiveness on the back. When I peeled the protective film off the back, it had the same stickiness as a lint roller. I bought a 4-pack, all 4 hooks felt like a lint roller.

This works. But it's not a suction cup. I thought, from the descriptions/categories, it was, but it's more like a big transparent sticker. Which is great for putting on glass as long as I can get it off later. It is working better than suction cups did.

I was really disappointed in these and contacted the seller as I was concerned I received defective items; however, I never heard back and now it's too late to return. I tried three of the hooks, followed the directions meticulously and still they fell down, even before I hung anything on them! That doesn't seem right...

Using these to mount accessories in our shower. They are very easy to position and REposition on the plastic shower wall. They hold even our heaviest shelves and all our supplies securely.

I ordered this to hang a canopy from a ceiling - it did not work at all. It does not stick to ANY painted surface even though the description says it will. Very disappointed and will try and return.
