After having lots of issues with a PS4 handset I did a bit of research and found that the problem probably lay with the cable rather than the controller, which was a relief as it was far less expensive! I decided to go for this type of cable as it was braided and therefore much stronger than the original and it was much longer too. It also was quite inexpensive so, if it turned out to be the handset after all, I need not have worried as it was indeed the cable and this replacement is far better than the original. It is both stronger and longer and it works really well, so thankfully no more error messages popping up on screen. The price is really good and I am more than happy with this replacement cable and can game away without worry!

Great quality, very sturdy cable

If you are looking for a cable to reconnect your PS4. This might or might not be the perfect choice. One of them just charges, and that's all. It's long and quality is good tho. However, the other one was helpful in connecting the controllers. I'm not sure if that could be the case with everyone. I might just be lucky.

I bought these for my ps4 controllers when they die. The wire is sturdy and comes with a tie so you can tie it back up to keep it safe and tangle free. The cord itself is long enough so I can comfortably play while charging. The wire is quite thick so I expect it to be very sturdy and durable.

These are perfect for me. I wanted one long enough to reach from my ps to my chair in the living room. The cover is nylon so the cable won't crack or split. They are good value as there are two in the pack.

Purchased for both myself and my daughter. They work well for a time but the little tabs that holds it into the controller stop gripping after a while and you have to wriggle the lead to make it work.
