Pifco P50003 Tower Fan with 3 Speed Settings, 80 Degree Oscillation and 2-Hour Timer, Push Button Controls, 29 Inch, White

This is a perfect small fan for sitting on your desk while you're doing what so many of us are doing right now - working at home. I bought it because the noise from our neighbours' building work was making it impossible to have MS Teams / Zoom meetings and keep the velux windows open. It's by no means a silent fan but the noise I'd regard as just 'normal' for a fan. One thing I was a bit concerned about was the noise of the fan coming through my microphone but people I meet with say they can't hear anything. I think this is partly because of the way I've positioned it, away from the laptop microphone (see picture). But it still doesn't cause an issue for meeting attendees if I use my bluetooth earphones with microphone.I don't get the negative reviews. This is a small fan! It's just for keeping you cool as you work at your desk and keeping the air moving. I haven't needed to set it on high yet, low is fine for me. Also, there are misleading reviews talking about it 'cooling the air' and whether it does or doesn't. It doesn't do that, that's called air-conditioning ;-)This is just an ideal, perfect, simple, good-value fan that is nicely shaped to not take up space on your desk. Out of the hundreds on offer, I found it hard to choose - but I am super pleased with this!

I purchased this Pifco P50001 fan to stand on my bedside table. Great size , does not take to much room up on the table . Also I was happy to see and here it is very quiet just beautiful and cooling. I feel it is just the right amount of breeze given whilst your relaxing on your bed or sleeping. My previous fan was too noisy and it disturbed me so now I have replaced and I’m so happy with my Purchase. Wow such mixed reviews for this fan. I bought two ~ mainly to use in the bedroom/craft room/kitchen as they're compact and light weight to move from room to room where needed.I can definitely say they're not going to knock your socks of or blow you away, but for a desk or bedside cabinet they're really useful. They have a slim footprint & 'subtle' airflow on low level which means you can keep them on at night without waking up halfway through with chills. It probably runs a little noisy but if you have tinnitus it's a great noise diffuser, works just as well for me as a noise sleep app. Not sure if it could cool a whole room come the height of summer ~ if that's what you need probably best to purchase a much larger fan, but for ladies who have warm moments or for children who don't like large fans it might be ideal.

Main problem was the lack of power, not very cooling at all. And remote control & sleep mode were mentioned a couple of times; they are conspicuous in their absence. On the whole, not marvellous.

My old fan packed up and died overnight but it was about 10 years old so had a good innings.I wanted something with a remote as I used my previous one in the bedroom as both white noise and also for cooling down on warmer nights and this was a good replacement. It's not loud enough to be a pain, but it's also just loud enough to be ok for white noise as well - it's not an annoying noise so even if you don't want to for white noise it's still peaceful enough otherwise.Would've preferred a choice of colours but not the end of the world, it works perfect for what I need so definitely not a major problem but would've been nice.

This little fella makes me happy!! You can get BIG fans, that when on you have to hang on to your furniture.Ooooor, you get small feeble fans. A bit like a couple of bees, flapping away in front of you. With the greatest respect to bees, I'll move on.As Goldilocks might say, this kiddy is just right!! BUT, only what you want it for! Standing at about 30cms tall, it's no heavy weight.......However, it can pack a punch over it's weight!If you need a fan for , maybe the following: ?* On a PC, ( this is where mine is, just remember, arms length, that's where it works best.* On your bedside cabinet.* Near to your favourite chair, put it on a side table next to you.* In the kitchen when you're cooking.Hope this helps.

Seriously awful. My hubby's bottom moves more air than this. I can't believe those other reviews were for the same fan. I think it could just about cool down a cup of tea if it was right beside it on full power. So in my opinion, It is just about suitable as a small desk fan but even then I am sure there are better out there than this. I tried this in my daughter's box bedroom and positioned it less than 50cm from her bed and she couldn't feel any breeze at all. I purchased 2 and will be returning both (I tested both and they were identical so it wasn't just an issue with one being faulty). Sadly my search for a decent competitively priced fan will have to continue.

bought this little fan for the dog because of the crazy heatwave we had. Good little fan, 2.speeds oscillating feature on both speed settings and actually quite powerful. Cooled down the area where the dog likes to sleep very well. I even joined him out there on rwally hot days. Please don't expect a crazy powerful gust of air, I think I had very low expectations for this fan because it was so cheap, so when It arrived and managed cool the hallway I was very impressed.
