NuPro Clear Screen Protector for Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet | 10th generation (2020 release), 2-pack

I bought these for my Daughters tablet and highly recommended them. They're easy to apply and just the right thickness. They won't rip but don't affect the use of the tablet either.Well worth the money.

This was a useless purchase offered with kindle fire tablet. You dont really need this as kindle fire for kids is amazing protected with the cover it comes in

This review is for the NuPro Clear Screen Protector for Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet | 10th generation (2020 release). This screen protector is one of the 'additional items' that are recommended when you look at the new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet | 10th generation (2020 release).I have only had the protector for a couple of days so what follows are my initial impressions. It is reasonably simply to apply this screen protector if you take your time and follow the instructions. Fortunately, the pack contains two screen protectors so you have a spare one in case you run into any difficulties when applying it. However, there are a couple of things I think are worth mentioning:(1). I would caution against using the dust absorber that is also provided in the pack. It is extremely sticky and I found it not only absorbed the dust it also stuck to the screen with only the minimum of pressure being applied. When I 'unpeeled' it, it left a sticky residue on the screen which I had to use a separate cloth to carefully wipe (i.e. scrape) off while trying not to damage the screen.(2) I anticipate the protector will provide protection against scratches (etc) but after just two days use I've noticed that fingerprints / smudges are already evident. Now I should say my views on this are biased as with previous tablets (and mobile phones) I have owned I have always used tempered glass screen protectors that I found are easier to apply (& with no risk of bubbles appearing) compared to this protector ... and glass protectors seem to not show as many fingerprint smudges. However on this occasion, I went with the recommended additional product advertised on the Amazon Fire page.So while it is too early to say how this protector will stand the test of time, and putting aside the incident with the dust absorber, this protector is a good fit for the new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet | 10th generation (2020 release) and does not dull the clarity of the screen picture in any way (finger smudges not withstanding).

After breaking and finally buying the Amazon fire kids, with its fantastic protective case, seems ridiculous not to invest in this screen protector to save it from mindless scratches it will surely face at the hands of our toddler.Does the trick.Anti glare isn’t amazing, but I think that’s more to do with the brightness settings on the tablet.

Bit tricky to put on kept lifting up off the screen

Good quality and it was really easy to put it on the tablet. The only hard part was getting the tablet out of the kidproof case first!There were 2 screen protectors, 2 fluff removing stickers and a micro fibre cloth in the pack with clear instructions.

I got these as they were recommended by Amazon and foolishly assumed for the price these were tempered glass like most screen protectors these days but they are just the film ones, great for protecting against scratches but not much else.Not a complete loss though as my son has the kids HD8 and while the jumbo case protectors the screen from breaking if dropped it doesn’t stop him scratching it with toys and this screen protector is perfect for that job.Installation is straightforward just make sure you use the tool provided and do one side at a time for smooth bubble-free application.

I definitely recommend for any one's child mine is 3 an uses it often. It has been put through more than a few days worth of abuse an still not a mark on it, Great purchase highly recommended

We’ve used these for the many Fire HD tablets including the new Disney ones, that we’ve gotten for our teen Autistic loved one. They are fantastic!! Been through falls, spills, and bouts of flue. Protect the screens exactly as they should. Worth the price!!
