Rebels, Scholars, Explorers: Women in Vertebrate Paleontology

Rebels, Scholars and Explorers is a well researched and nicely written dive into what females have accomplished in a field (like many) that has been dominated by males for a very long time. In doing so a great number of ladies and their work is highlighted. How their efforts fit into the larger picture of progress in vertebrate paleontology is effectively described. The question of Who achieved What breakthroughs within the natural world, and When, has long been a major interest of mine. This new book is a major step forward in giving ladies accolades for their work, and I for one hope Rebels, Scholars and Explorers is only a beginning for balancing the genders.
