AMC White Mountain National Forest Trail Map Set, 3rd (Appalachian Mountain Club) Map – Folded Map, April 17, 2012

The White Mountain guide book comes with a set of paper maps but I think these waterproof maps printed on Tyvek are worth the money. They are more durable in all sorts of weather and mud or food spills can be wiped off without staining the map.

These are perfect and so much better than the paper maps that came with the book. I think they will take a good beating over the years. I did try to rip a corner of the map and much to my surprise it did tear rather easy. But then again they are supposed to be waterproof not rip proof. I think Tyvek is made cheaper these days but still really nice maps.

Got a better deal here than the AMC website. Good maps, seem water resistant. Strong material.

Excellent maps for the White Mountains. Very clear, plenty of detail. The mileage between trail intersections is very useful when planning extended trips.

These are awesome maps. Completely waterproof and durable (Tyvek paper). Good detail, topo lines, etc. I'd recommend this to everyone wanting good WMNF map/s.

Tyvek maps are the way to go on the trail.. paper maps are great for planning indoors on a table.

My husband is so excited to have these new maps to replace his paper ones that are ripping along the seams...
