Q: I wear a 10.5 D, is that considered a wide or standard size?

A D-width is considered a medium for men and a wide for women.

Q: Do these shoes have arch and plantar fasciitis support?

They have great support including ROLLBARS on both sides and will definitely help with your plantar fasciitis. As some of the other wearers have mentioned, you can make them even better with an orthotic insert like the NB1200. Also remember that no matter how good your shoes are, if you walk barefoot around the house, you'll just make the pain worse no matter what shoes you wear. Q: My husband presently has a new balance 855 that fits perfectly. us 14 with the numbers 2e mx855wn. can you help match him with this shoe in his size?

My experience with New Balance has been that sized consistent between models. I’ve had 900’s now in 800 series and got same size (11.5) W and found no difference.

Q: Would going up a 1/2 size help with the narrow toe box? Has that worked for anyone?

i measured the length of the 806 size 10 versus an old model 653 in size 10. the 806 was measurably shorter. re width. i always wore size 10-4E. with the model 806 11-4E it's still too narrow, maybe a 3E or less. nonetheless these are the best i've done so far. i tried new balance 1006 - they are at least the right length but no wider. i tried new balance 624 size 10 SIX E! they are no wider than the 806 11-E. i am awaiting shoes from "fitville" [available here on amazon] and from orthofeet to see if i can do better. otherwise i'll keep the 11-4E's and try a shoe stretcher with its all leather upper.
