Not only is this tool good looking, it's sharp. It came out of the box sharp. After a bit of use, the edge remained sharp. And with only a slight bit of attention from a stone, the edge is back razor sharp.Could not be happier.

Sooooo disappointed in this product. Got this for my husband as a Fathers Day gift, he was ecstatic when he saw it. But that quickly diminished into disappointment. He literally made 1 hit into a log and the next hit, the handle broke right off from the blade. After looking at the handle, it looks like the wood had a rotten portion on the inside. Going to contact the seller to see about a replacement, will update when i hear back. As of right now, if I could give a 1/2 a star I would....

I was real happy about the axe until I used it the first time..... After cutting one pce of wood the steel is wiggling on the handle and I noticed there isn't a wedge at the top to hold the blade like 90% of all other hatchets I've opened. It's just held in by a pin......

Beautiful blade but it's only for looks. I was camping and just chopping down some already precut wood into small pieces. I was hardly put any effort into it.
