Delivery took over a week, so missed the occasion bought for. Love this fun story as do toddlers, dvd not watched yet as it’s for a present, hopefully will play ok

I bought this book after my 4yr old son read it in school, He absolutely loves it and reads it almost daily and watches accompanying dvd at every chance.

I first discovered this on YouTube, looking up videos for my toddler son to watch, then found the book in the library.Moving on a few years to Son Number Two and we still love this book, both my boys learned the rhymes and the words very quickly, and they have both enjoyed the cartoon version on DVD/Youtube as well.It can be read or sung, Rosen makes this very gleeful, with Foo Foo the rabbit a rather evil little bunny who just seems to enjoy hitting things and not caring about consequenecs.The fairy takes in upon herself to teach him a lesson - WILL she turn him into a goonie? And just what IS a goonie?!I love reading this aloud, I sometimes sing it or sometimes just say it. And I can't help doing the Scottish accent from the cartoon for the fairy.Robins subversive illustrations suit the tone and story perfectly, I adore the fairy's handbag, and the very downtrodden tigers.It's total nonsense, but totally enjoyable nonsense at that. Just a fun poem/song for bedtimes - and a reminder not to hit gobins on the head. Even if you do have a cool motorbike.For age 2-6.

This brilliant book and DVD have my grandchildren spell bound. It is a fairly short but very entertaining. Worth every penny.
