Good follow up
Another interesting mystery with new characters, some action, a lot of magic and good character development, we get to meet Knit's ex and her relationship progresses nicely. I'm hooked I'm picking up the next book right now.

First was Ice, Now there's Fire
Whenever I see see Shade in action I always expect to either feel excitement or to groan or some mix of the two whenever she is present, yet a lot of those groan moments seem to be mostly of her own making. It was even a little touching in seeing that Mother may actually have been sentient since she was first turned on because of the sorrow she revealed in over the lives that she had seen left behind. Also, it was interesting to see how Shade still suffers from her victimization from the previous yet disappointing how she isn't given a moment to just break down especially when she has clearly identified Oberron and it could of been heartwarming how he could of just took the moment to support her.Otherwise, another great entry and can't wait for the next one.

Oh! What fun!
Knith is up to her old shenanigans again being more courageous and honorable then anyone with good sense has a right to be and she does it in style! Ready yourself for the next installment of comedic, witty banter with all your old friends and and the perfect amount of cute and sexy, because you won't want to put this book down until you figure "who done it!"I loved it and definitely recommend. Reminiscent of Laney from The Techromancy Scrolls.

Enjoyable
This series reminds me of what is, in my opinion, Heinleins best stuff to wit; The era around the the time of "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" and "Glory Road". Suffice it to say from me that is very high praise indeed. There is a certain economy of phrase without sacrificing the descriptive needs of the narrative which I enjoy reading. I fervently hope the author returns to this series soon.

Magic/Tech overlap, snarky, fun
This is the second book in a series, and will not make sense unless you have previously read "Worldship Files: Leviathan". I liked that one, and I like this one. I recommend reading both. I have loved stories that combine magic and tech, ever since "Blue Adept". This provides a wonderfull blend. I also enjoy the characters, the snark, and the story.

Fey and humans in space, what could possibly go wrong?
Erik has another great entry in his new Worldship series. What could be more dangerous than fire on a spaceship? How about figuring out who released the magical Firewyrm to burn up a section of the ship? A Firewyrm that's not even supposed to be on board?Poor Shade has her hands full when she has to deal with the Summer Queen now. And she thought that Mab was a handful. Titania may well be ever more dangerous.
