Neosport 1.5mm XSPAN Unisex Shorts

I bought the woman's vest (size XL = size 14) and these jammers (mens size 2XL). I am 62 years old, 5' 8" tall, and weigh about 150 lbs. I bought this 2-piece wetsuit because the swimming pool water was just too cold for me. When I got the vest and jammers, I tried it on at home and they both seemed to fit just fine -- just a little big and easy to put on.When I wore my 2-piece wetsuit in the pool, I was NOT cold at all. In fact, I was a little warm and I liked the feeling! The suit does add some buoyancy (even though I don't need it). When I started to swim a regular freestyle, the suit did not interfere with my stroke, but it did slow me down. It was like wearing a super-drag suit. In the water, the suit seems to get larger. The draw string in the jammers helps to hold them on. After swimming in them, I realized that I should have probably purchased a smaller vest and probably have purchased a smaller jammer. But, I like the large sizes I purchased because they are very easy to put on. I usually wear a woman's XL or size 16 or 18. The vest is size 14, but I think it runs large. The jammers are a 2XL and I think they run small.I have been using the vest and jammers for several months. I keep both of them in my pool locker. They both hold so much water that they take about 3 days to dry out. Especially the jammers which seem to hold more water. For this reason, I have stopped using the jammers and just wear the vest over my swim suit. This works very well. The vest keeps me safe from the initial cold shock when getting into the water. I swim 10 lengths with the vest on, then take it off and swim an additional 20 lengths. I love to feel the difference of swimming with a drag-vest and then without it. It motivates me to swim faster!My suggestion to anyone planning to purchase the vest and jammers is to just buy the vest at first. It may be all you need. The size 14 vest is a little large, but I'm happy with the size because it is very easy to put on and take off. If you need more warmth, purchase the jammers.

Exactly as advertised. Very good quality and fits better than expected but I also look like the model depicted I am 5'9" 162 pounds with about 7% body fat so my stomach is flat as a flitter. If you can't say the same then it probably isn't going to fit as depicted. I use this with a rasher for snorkeling and warm water spear fishing though I think it would make a decent short for triathlon training as well. Though I am not sure how the neoprene open cell material would hold up to an exceedingly hard bike seat. I am guessing it would do ok for 60k and under rides. Though God only knows what that might do to your thighs. Yah I think I would just stick to using it for swim training. I forget if this was womens or mens or unisex. when it comes to all black neoprene or spandex cycling I can usually wear a mens medium. But I will also wear a womens medium as it just fits a little tighter in the thighs but usually fits better in the but and it all stretches a little.

using for snorkeling - a layer of warmth for relatively warm water

I bought these on the advice of a friend who also scuba dives and who spoke highly of the comfort, fit, and warmth of these shorts. We wear them under our wetsuits instead of swim trunks, which offer no warmth. These shorts don't bunch up when you pull a wetsuit on over them and they fit beautifully and feel very smooth and comfortable on the body. I weigh 168 with 33" waist and ordered an XL and it's a perfect snug fit. The price is excellent for what you get.

Bought these and took them to the water park, Loved them, they are very comfortable for all day, these can be worn under shorts but why?These shorts are not built to keep you warm they are more like a soft 1mil wet suit. Only time I had a problem with these shorts was when I went down a steep water slide, the bottoms tried to fold up from the water pressure. No big deal.As for size stick to what you normally wear I am a male, weight 200 pounds and I am 5'9 I got large however a medium would have been just fine.I don't believe gender is an issue with these shorts they are very comfortable.

Just as advertised.I ordered a size medium (my waist is 35-36) and these fit "snugly" but not tight. I view this is how they should fit.This appears to be a high-quality product. The thickness isn't full "wetsuit" thickness, but guessing it's plenty thick for diving up to 50-75' down and providing torso warmth. This short pulls off easily as well.Shipment arrived in 2 days and I am excited to wear this short 50' under soon. I recommend this short and just bought another for my wife. I like it.

The best shorts for warm water diving that you will ever buy. Used these in Bonaire recently, sooooo comfortable, you want to wear them all day!. I bought an xl for my Brother, and I went with a little roomier xxl, I am 5'9 and weigh 190LBS, I could wear the xl also, they vary only slightly, except the xxl is a little roomier in hips and thighs, but not by much.....If you have anyone in your family or a friend who is a water sport person, don't hesitate to get these, you cannot go wrong!!

I'm a 5'9" woman, wear pant size 10 and a medium fit very well. The fabric is a tad lighter-weight than my spring suit and that's fine for my needs. I live in SoCal and when I'm at the beach, I'm in the water, so these shorts provide a layer of warmth to allow me to play in the water longer! So far, these seem like a good choice for my summer fun. I paired it with a rash guard (swimsuit under-all) so I'm warmer in the ocean and protected from the sun.

Height 6’4”; waist 38”; hips 44. Weight: 190 pounds.Using the Neo Sport size guide and Amazon reviews with measurements, I took a chance that the XL would fit. These shorts fit my husband snuggly but comfortablely and the waist line comes to just below the umbilicus (he is long waisted). Haven’t tried them in the ocean yet. Reviews with measurements are very helpful.

These are a great item to have for skin diving or scuba. can easily change into or out of my wetsuit while in the boat or beach. Dry fairly quickly so I can even put shorts on overtop without too much issue. Recommended. They fit a little small, but work well. I am 210 lbs and 6' tall. these fit great!

Very happy with size SMALL. I'm 5'1, 110lbs, athletic build, size small fits perfect (not too snug or loose). Great construction of neoprene pants and great for any water sport. Would recommend.

Fix like a glove. I was concerned the waist wasn't going to fix, but there is lots of give.I'm 5'1" , 125lbs and the small is perfect. These will be my spring/summer gear for paddlingin the mountain waters.Note: the 1st order got lost in shipping and amazon sent out the 2nd order free with priority shipping.
