Nice quality bit of kit, works perfectly with PS4
Looking for a decent quantity Bluetooth adapter to allow my TWS earphones to be used with my PS4 Pro. This seemed better than ones without the antenna so I ordered it, and I am not disappointed at all. Easy to install and set up, the sound quality is brilliant without any noticeable lag. Highly recommend

Works but...
First off the one I was sent was clearly a returned item. The package seal was broken and the USB cable missing. Neither are deal breakers but still...Tried this with some sennheiser headphones and it worked well. Pairing was easy and the reach of the signal much greater than the usb dongle I was using. However when I tried to pair a second device (a Marantz audio streamer) chaos ensued. The signal was intermittent and the volume control on the streamer went berserk (go figure). And no, I wasn't trying to use both at the same time.So if you want a simple bluetooth transmitter for use with one device then this will do the job as advertised. If your needs are more complicated I wouldn't recommend this sort of driverless transmitter. I've put it in the box of bits for possible use sometime in the future and have bought a different one for use on my PC.

Works really well, nice amount of range
I bought this for the extended range to work with my BTR5. The BTR5 has a pretty weak single but with this dongle I am able to get single all around my flat. After doing a firmware update with help from support. I was able to get the dongle working perfectly to switch between Aptx HD and LL. A noticable improvment on the HD which is nice for certain music types.Support replied very quickly when the switch did not switch between HD and LL and after a very easy firmware update was working without issue. Would high recommend this dongle.

Don't bother if you have a FiiO bluetooth receiver - refuses to connect
I purchased this to use with a FiiO BTR1K, which is a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver with APTX-LL support. This receiver has worked with EVERYTHING I've tried it with until now - phones, laptops and several other bluetooth dongles. The DG60 doesn't work with it, at all. I've reset both devices multiple times, pored over the manuals, tried various different settings, plugged it into PCs and the PS4 - no dice. It just won't connect.I don't even think mine is faulty - it turns on, pairs properly and it's picked up fine by my PC as an audio device, it just won't actually pair with a very modern and popular receiver. No good at all.

It seemed to cause my PC to freeze up when plugged in
I'm using a fairly recent windows 10 pc - probably about 18 months old - and fairly high spec. Whenever I plugged this in everything slowed down and froze up for a few minutes - never experienced that before with any plug and play usb device. So sadly decided to return it - as it didn't do what I needed it to do, which is a shame, as the range seemed very good.

Good bit of kit
Only gave 4 stars for easy to install as I,m man and i just went for it :) . Had to have a quick read of the instructiona and then it was plain sailing works very well for music as thats what I bought it for good range of transmission as well .

Functions very well. But poor ergonomics, deeply inadequate instructions and inaccurate product info
(This review is for a DG60, sold by AvantreeDirect and Fulfilled by Amazon in Nov2020). The item was delivered quickly, but is not as detailed in the listing's product description: the slide switch on mine offers only bluetooth mode or something called 'broadcast', not music or high definition audio as pictured and described. By default it would always choose aptx-LL (even though my receiver offers aptx-HD).To add further to the problem, nowhere in the instructions does it offer any alternative explanation of how to set to High Definition (in fact at times the info in the instructions did not appear to reflect my device at all). The result was hours of frustration and very nearly a return. The manufacturer's website offered downloadable instructions, but these were of no more use than the hard copy already included. Eventually.. I found a separate entry burried within their product support pages: Guide and troubleshooting.. All Questions.. How to use the Product (operations guide).. How to get aptX-HD Codec (Pre-2020 Batches ONLY). I've no idea how one can tell the date but this worked so I guess is a pre-2020 model.Anyway, that initial aggro aside, the product itself turns out to be very capable, and works both on windows and linux mint - they see it as a kind of soundcard or audio sink. It is still so unergonomic that I need to refer to notes every single time the mode needs changing, so I can't in good conscience give it full stars. But once set up it serves the functional purpose better than any of the previous products I've tried. No drop-outs at all within the same or adjacent room, not even dropping to a lower quality codec. So for that I'm willing to put up with its terrible usability, but I wish it had been the product that was described in the listing; were these safer times I may well have returned it.

Works brilliantly, audio Bluetooth issues are finally over
I tried a number of Bluetooth adapters for use with my PC and wireless headphones. I had issues every time (sound crackling/dropping, sounding like I'm under water on calls etc...). The DG60 finally fixed all issues, the sound quality is great and I no longer have microphone issues either. Would highly recommend. The only downside (and this could be an issue with my headphones) is after connecting my headphones, they don't seem to 'auto-off' if taken off with no audio playing. This is a minor annoyance as you need to remember to manually turn the headphones off when not in use, but other than that the adapter is brilliant. I can't fault the quality.
