Works well enough, but it is not perfect
I am using this particular harness for my cat, since other ones presented too many problems. The jacket design causes the cat to overheat, even in relatively cool 72 degree F weather. I live in the Deep South. Also, with the jacket design which has a great deal of velcro which secures both sides of the harness around the cat's abdomen, it takes two people to remove the jacket from the cat, i.e., one person must use both hands to undo those long velcro strips, and at least one other hand is needed to secure the cat when the jacket is being undone. There are not always two people present, or at least three hands available, to help with the undressing whenever I walk my cat. The one advantage of the jacket design is that the cat will have a very hard time escaping from it, and it is made out of padded 100% cotton and "soft" for the cat.The major downside to this harness is that most cats will be able to wiggle out of it if they so choose. Otherwise, though, for this particular design of harness, this one is one of the best. I have two cats which are quite different in their body types, but both measure across the chest and neck to fit into the Size Medium of this vest. One cat, a calico, is around ten pounds, and the other, a very large male Siamese, is closer to 15 pounds. Finding the proper adjustments so that the harness fits both properly, and then making the adjustments, is not very difficult. But, if the harness is too loose, the cat will wiggle out of it if that's what the cat chooses to do. Neither of my cats, if they wiggle out of this harness, are prone to scurry off into harm's way; both will stop when I call their names and allow me to pick them up. I would not recommend this harness if one has a cat which likely could be harmed if it escaped from the harness. This harness appears to be well made, but its clasps could be made out of a bit more sturdy material.

Awesome! Make sure it's adjusted correctly!
This harness is amazing. My cat hasn't been able to escape from it so far, and he seems quite comfortable in it. Just double check that the straps aren't too loose or too tight before you take your cat outside! :)

Worked great!
It fits well, almost too small but I didn’t want it to be too big. I actually put it in her in the airport and she didn’t seem to mind after a few minutes and she realized she could walk around a little. Nice and sturdy and she didn’t seem to kind having it in after a few minutes, she’s 15 weeks old and a very sweet calm kitten.

A Great Cat Harness- Worth Every Penny
I just bought this Medium because the small has gotten a little tight. I started using an RC Pets harness when my Little Bear was a kitten, about 11 weeks old. It was a small, and while a little large on the smallest setting, she got used to it quickly and grew into it fast. I used it every day for almost 2 years. The only time she escaped it was due to my mistake. It is pretty much escape-proof. It seems really comfortable as she never acts like she wants it removed. The medium fits well and has room for her to add some pounds. I expect to use it a very long time!

So yeah, the neck hole is way too big, and they don't make the body strap very adjustable.
They need to flip flop the straps on the design and it'd be perfect. Just put the harness on backwards and I promise you it'll be fine.

Couple Issues
Got the pink one. It's a sturdy harness, but:* The chest buckle is positioned right in the armpit.* I feel like the back strap is too short. Maybe not, but it pulls the chest strap in at the top, making it tighter than it seems like it ought to be.The cat tolerates it (and looks oh-so-adorable in it), but she doesn't like it and if point 2 isn't a problem for her, I know point 1 definitely is. I mean, how'd you like to have a big chunk of plastic buried in your armpit all the time?I guess I'll keep it until I'm able to take her to the vet and get her fitted for something better, but I would steer clear of it if I were you.

Great Harness - If you modify it
I recommend this harness over other cat harnesses, as long as you can make a few adjustments. My cat is comfortable in it and it seems secure and sturdy. He escaped once, but after I tightened the chest strap a bit, he hasn't been able to escape again. Just make sure the harness is very snug, but not too tight! The D-ring placement is perfect as it eliminates any pulling at the neck and I can gently tuck to encourage my cat to walk without harming him. As many reviews have said, the neck sizing is way too big. I bought my cat a medium because his chest girth measurement was 1" over the small size (he is 11.4 lbs, neck = 8.5", chest = 15"). Even with the straps tightened fully, the harness was still too lose on his neck. I fixed this by sliding the excess strap onto a keyring (~0.5" ring). This was helpful because it also allowed me to attach his nametag and a bell! I received the updated design with the neck buckle, which is a big improvement on the previous design. However, I don't understand how this harness is designed for cats, yet doesn't adjust enough to fit their necks. I know I don't have an abnormally proportioned cat... Overall, this is still the best cat harness I have used, but RC Pets can definitely still improve the product.

One of the better ones but still not functional
This is the 6th harness we’ve tried for our cat. It’s definitely the sturdiest one and the side buckles are great. Overall, it fits him decently too. The back strap is a bit short (as they all have been) but the neck hole can be expanded relatively large so that it can sit farther back on his neck/chest. For reference, my cat is 13” tall at the shoulder, 15” long, 16-17” chest, 10-11” neck, and we got a size large.HOWEVER, why did they put the chest buckle exactly where it will rub under his armpit?!? He’s clearly uncomfortable when he walks. I have no choice but to return it.

Great first harness for my young kitten
I read a lot of recommendations before buying this harness, and although it is more expensive than most I think it has been a good decision so far. Its easy to get on and off with 2 clips, but seems very secure and looks comfortable. It has size adjustment and was a little too big until about 11/12 weeks old just as Loki was allowed outside. Don't be put off at first use. Loki collapsed his legs, lied on his back and protested, and I'm still not sure if it would be fair to say he 'likes' it, but he can walk, play and run and doesn't seem to notice it if he has a distraction to think about, or some exploring to do. I'd definitely recommend.

Difficult to put on and take off
The buckles for adjusting the chest part of the harness are too low down, i.e. just below the cat's elbows which made it tricky to open and close without digging around trying to find them. My cat is not the most patient when it comes to a harness and it ended up in a bit of a biting game. For the rest the harness is fine.

Great harness, but could be a single size
This is a great harness - the quality is good and there is no way for my kitten to wiggle out of it. He's able to run, jump, and play unimpeded while wearing it and he easily adjusted to wearing it. I'm so grateful for the neck buckle on the new model - I have no idea how anyone got the old model on without it!The one gripe I have about the harness is that the adjustable neck loop is too big. A cat's neck is much thinner than its body and I'm using the minimum length on the smallest harness but it's still almost too big. I think the neck loop sizing maybe needed to be larger when you had to get the loop over the cat's head, but now it should be smaller.I initially bought a medium size thinking I could adjust the straps down to fit, but the neck loop was huge. I then bought a small and decided to save the medium for when my cat grows up, but I realized that the chest plate for the medium and small sizes are exactly the same size and the only difference is the size of the chest and belly loops. So you're basically forced to buy two harnesses for a growing cat when it could easily be designed to accommodate kittens and adult cats by making the neck and belly loops adjustable to smaller sizes.

Completly Escape Proof
This harness is the best ever! It's comfortable for "Merlin" & "Loki" where they were wearing them while travelling and when we hooked them up to a cable for running around, they are not able to take it off! After a while, they didn't even care if this harness was on.There's enough room for them to move and they can't escape from it! Others, LOKI was able to escape from, but not this one! Thank-you!

The cat harness I've been looking for for a long time!
My cat is very fussy when it comes to her harness (or just anything in general – everything has to be her way or the highway). She loves to go outside, but hates putting her harness on. I've tried to get her into a few harnesses by now, but they all require another person to hold onto her while I put it on her, which is not ideal, as sometimes I want to take her out and no one is there to help me. This harness was recommended to me by my roommate, as she has the same harness for her kitty, and it's absolutely a gamechanger! The buckle to get it around the neck makes it 1000x easier to get the harness on my cat. The only issue I have is getting her arm through the armhole, but that's just because my cat is especially fussy. I cannot rave enough about this harness! I would absolutely recommend this one to any cat owners struggling to get their kitties in harnesses that require their heads to go through holes that their cats just refuse to comply with.
