Excellent
Another enjoyable read by Nahin with the right mix of historical and technical discussion.

Heaviside Revisited
This book gives rare insights to a much neglected genius. Well researched.

Best read for a long time
A magnificently written, lively and informative account of late Victorian battles concerning the nature of electromagnetic effects and their propagation. The human story is highly engaging, describing the eccentricities of Heaviside's life and their origins, as well as examples of his cutting style of sarcastic writing against those he perceived to have slighted him (usually humorously couched in the semi-polite language of the era). For readers wishing to understand in greater depth some of the technical details of the debates raging at that time, helpful technical notes are provided at the end of each chapter for those with an understanding of standard electromagnetic theory of the present time.
