EXCELLENT gimbal but wrong ergonomics for me
Full disclosure, I've returned my Crane 3S as it wasn't the right product for me. That said, there's a lot of positive things to say about this gimbal.First, the actual stabilization is rock-solid. Put my BMPCC4k on it and had it setup and balanced the first time in 10 minutes. I never experienced the shaking issues I've seen complaints about. The only time I was even aware the gimbal might be working too hard was when I heard a very light "chattering," which was due to my adding the focus motor and not rebalancing. I was very happy with the performance on this front.Second, the full kit of accessories is pretty dang cool. I think it's a misstep on Zhiyun's part not putting a display on the unit itself, so the SmartSling handle is kind of essential for the advanced functions and even a lot of configuration -- unless you want to use the phone app which... Is not great. Don't get me wrong, it works, but it's clunky and has some significant limitations that contributed to my returning the whole shebang.I won't enumerate every positive about the thing -- overall, it feels extremely well constructed, sturdy, the performance is terrific.OK so why did I return it? Short answer: user interface.Longer answer: ergonomically, I just didn't like it. The gimbal itself is heavy, and the configuration of the handles makes carrying it in a stable position difficult for any length of time. I'm not a bodybuilder but I'm a fairly strong, healthy human being and the thought of shooting with this thing for 8 hours gave me cramps in my brain-arms. And I'm talking about carrying it in the most comfortable possible position -- if you hope to have access to the focus wheel at the same time, no dice; it's a weird contortion that put a lot of lateral stress on my hands during movement and never felt particularly secure. This is also true of the joystick that controls pan and tilt; very hard to access while bearing the weight of the whole rig.My first impulse was to improve the experience with some add-ons -- put a remote wheel on a separate handle, maybe. Well, no dice: there's a discontinued handle designed for the Crane 2 (I don't know if it's compatible) and I didn't want to wait for a used one to show up for testing. Maybe remap the wheel on the SmartSling to focus? Nope, can't do it. Maybe use the phone app? No dice: the image transmitter is a cool piece of kit but a) the image is laggy and compressed on the phone and b) the app doesn't support control of the focus motor, because it has to be connected to EITHER the video transmitter OR the gimbal, and interposing focus motor control does not seem to be possible.Another thing about the app that drove me absolutely crazy: the Phone Sync mode in which you turn the phone to turn the gimbal. Cool idea, right!? Small problem though: the axes of the phone are mapped wrong. If you're holding the phone out in front of you so you can see the video, you have to turn it like a steering wheel to pan the gimbal; if you've panned 90 degrees, you're now looking at your phone in portrait mode. This is incredibly awkward and even as a lifelong video game enthusiast, I was not able to effectively cross my wires to get used to this. One thing I was really looking forward to using for composite shots was the preset motion feature. The idea is that you can pick points A, B, C, D... onward and then press "go" and the gimbal moves through each position smoothly. Could be wicked useful for effects or just any repeat move! However, it seems like the only way this works is to evenly space each keyframe over a span of time no less than 2 minutes. So if you want to go from A to B in 30 seconds and B to C in 90 seconds? Can't do it. A to B to C in 30 seconds? Nope. Cool feature but severely limited.I also figured some combination of these gadgets should let me autofocus my cine lenses, since the focus motor is there, the app is connected and optical focusing is pretty common... I never did find a way to do it with this kit.At the end of the day, I realized that even if I found some kind of remote focus solution I could bolt onto an aftermarket handle and operate with my thumb, the thing would still weigh a ton and I'd have to go on to get a harness or belt for it, too... And it was just overkill at that point. There were just too many downsides to make this My Gimbal. It's a very good product despite my misgivings -- 90% just right with 10% dealbreakers for me personally.

Great, but heavy
Great, not bad to get balanced, but it is heavy once I get my BMPCC 6k pro on it with a 24-105mm Lens.

Powerful and Cost Effective
I was thoroughly impressed with the number of items I received after purchasing the PRO package. Zhiyun really has revolutionized the game with how versatile they are and competitive when it comes to pricing. The motors are extremely powerful and it'll be rare that you'll find a camera combo that cant be balanced with this set up. I'm still getting used to my set up (Black Magic 6k pro + Sigma 18-35) but i love it so far

It's a fantastic device! It Works!
The media could not be loaded. I've rigged it up with a C300 Mark III with a heavy cinema lens. The weight came in at over 10lbs. It's tricky to get all the components working, but I feel like a winner after this purchase. Once it's set up, it just works flawlessly. I took advantage of the promotion with the wireless video equipment and the extra parts. It was worth every penny.I totally recommend the Pro kit. It really deserves 3 & 3/4th stars because I'm still having trouble with the remote control and I don't like some aspects of it, but hey, I have no complaints. It works and it provides smooth footage using big camera in a mobile fashion. So with that, it does what it's supposed to do notwithstanding the extra gimmicks.

Good to go!
Great product, came exactly as advertised. I did have a couple questions for customer support which were answered promptly and completely helped out. I would order again from this seller!

Great Idea poorly executed
Besides missing the wireless receiver and a few other things it showed to include. I was excited to use this with my red weapon as that was the camera literally on the box. However after careful balancing a few different ways it continued to shake when not In motion and the motor would get confused and smash the camera into itself. The extra money you pay for a dji is in the refinement and programming. I'm sure they're both made in the same Chinese sweatshop but at least you have American engineers programming it with the dji. Also this thing is sooooo heavy its impossible to use in any way for more than a minute or two but that's all gimbals.
