What is the difference between using foam vs microfiber applicator pads?

Huge difference in how they apply the product. If the product you want to apply is very light, like a spray or any type of clear liquid, or a low volume product, a foam applicator will work better (this excludes glass cleaners - use a mf for that). If you want to apply something thicker and heavier with more volume, use a microfiber.

how big are the applicators? the product dimensions say 10 x 6 x 3 inches, is that each one or the box of 8?

For the package of 8. Each is 5 X 3 X 1.5 Great product. I like the size.

used to apply butter wet wax. washed after and still see a little wax... wash again or throw out?. or ok to use for future?

Personally, if it is still dirty or has the product on it. I would hand wash it at that point and see if i can get it out using a liquid soap. If it still does not come out, yes i would throw it away.

Can i reuse for different products? Ex: microfiber washed after blacklight or jet seal, can i reuse pad with butter wax?

Absolutely, you can reuse them after each use as long as you clean them thoroughly. The reason we have different colors is just in case you wanted to keep one color for the Butter Wet Wax, a different one for Jet Seal, and a different one for Black Light.

Great Applicators

Very comfortable in the hand and I used them to apply Gyeon CanCoat EVO on my new car. They did a much better job of application than the microfiber cloth method recommended by Gyeon because the applicator was comfortable to hold.
