I rented and the book that arrived was brand new
I couldn't afford to buy this book so I rented it from Amazon and they sent me a brand new book. As always, item came in a frustration-free packaging. Amazon always delivers top-notch service for me. About the book... This textbook is full of information and 'm lucky my professor does not give tests solely on memorization of the terms and definitions; otherwise I would fail. It's like at every paragraph, there's a new term or technical term and this textbook is I can say an excellent resource for those wanting to major in Geography and also for those in the teaching profession. This textbook is also full of illustrations and real-life examples. I grade this book an A+.

Detailed and Succinct with plenty of Visuals, Perfect for the Casual College Student
Great copy. A lot of interesting facts and information covering the whole range of geographic topics from weather, atmosphere and climate to land forms, rivers, earthquakes, deserts and natural "disasters." I'm taking a college geography course this summer and this book is the basis pretty much for that entire course. Although tedious at times and unafraid to inject plenty of 'geo-centric' vernacular, this textbook is a detailed, succinct read perfect for even for the casual college student.

Excellent price for a used textbook!
So I was frantically searching for a cheaper used price and I ran into this gem! I normally don't buy from individual sellers but I really needed this book before class starts on June 30th. The book arrived on time (got it today) and it was exactly as described. Haven't started reading, so I can't really give y'all a summary of how well written the book is or whatever. Really impressed!

A well structured and naturally flowing book, highly recommended.
A brilliant book, very well put together and easy to read. Chapters flow easily into one another, making it easy to follow, and uses a lot of real life references and applications to describe concepts. Currently using it to teach myself introductory geosystems between my course and my honours year (have only had it a month or so), and am finding motivation comes more naturally with this book than some other more "sterile" textbooks.

Great book for any Intro to Physical Geography course.
We didn't get through all the chapters in my 100-level college geography courses, but I ended up reading the rest of this book anyway. I thought it was well-written, well-edited, and informative! I enjoy learning about physical geography.

Interesting info
Great Book - I really enjoyed this book and eveyone should get this book just to keep up with keeping our environment healthy. It tells about the condition of our environment. A few spelling mistakes and misreferenced charts but you can figure it out.

Not super good but okay.
This book is okay because many of the words used in it hard to understand for people who don't like Geology but they are taking it as an elective.
