The Yahboom Raspberry Pi 4B AI Robot Kit is an excellent collection of hardware, software and documentation. The device is sturdy, well designed and easy to assemble if the assembly video is followed. The supporting application on the smart device used to control the robot works well. The supporting documentation contains a full set of functions and is well written. This is one of the best robots kits which I have assembled. I believe this would be a good addition to any class on robotics or used for individual study where a focus on python is desired.

Assembly is pretty straightforward, though instructions are not that good. Design of the robot is impressive, with the layout well thought out. There are many spare parts. Unlike the claims in the description, the Camera is only 2DOF. They are pretending that the option to ASSEMBLE the camera at one of two FIXED heights (literally bolting an extension on) is a DOF! Many specs, especially of the Pi 4B have to be looked up by the buyer.Once assembled, though, and the OS and software are installed and configured, this robot ois amazing. Ther is enough room in the chassis to fit one hat, if it is not too tall. There are still IO pins available for more sensors and servos. The battery pack looks like it can easily be upgraded.

Well it says that I should write my review and mention “sheerness” “thickness” and “warmth” but this isn’t a review for a scarf or a dildo, it’s for a robot... I do have to say I’m impressed with the construction materials and the fact that it has 1 extra of every screw needed. The build instructions were pretty complete (for the most part). Overall I’d give the product a 8.5/10.

Product use AI input to do line following.It is very nicely built with extra parts in case of loss or breaking.My disappointment and show stopper is that the AI tracking is limited to the camera moving.The vehicle cannot and was not designed to track and object with vehicle movement.Other AI robots are suited to learning from images and using learned image recognition Drive motor controllers and move/stop/avoid.My impression was this had that functionality, but it did not.

As expected.

Instructions are fairly clear, though sometimes it has some mistranslations (e.g. it calls the velcro stickers magic tape). Also has instructional videos to physically show you how to put it together. Fun build, took about 2 hours with two people assembling it.

An amazing build great for moderate skill level.A really fun to work with an amazing design concept with the wheels having all range motion.

I like the product, However, the building instructions and parts could be a tad more clear.
