Saucony Women's Triumph ISO 2 Running Shoe

Finally settled!
So I have sensitive feet and bad knees... finding shoes is literally impossible for me. I am a neutral supinator with patellofemoral pain and a tight IT band/hips. I was into the minimalist movement (Merrell) for the past few years but they just didn't have enough cushion for me. I have also run in Asics but the issue I have with them is that they are so warm and have no breathability. I live in the desert so that is important. But they do last a long time without falling apart.I have never owned a pair of saucony running shoes. I did extensive research which led me to the kinvara 7s. I ordered those a half size up like recommended (size 9) here on Amazon but they were too long and too narrow. They also gave me blisters and were not going to last long on the dirt path I run on. So more research, I ended up here. I took a leap based on the kinvara and ordered an 8.5 wide (8.5 is my regular shoe size). I wore these to work for 2 days to break them in. My feet were a bit sore from them but I hoped it would be worth it.Ran in them today (4 miles). Terrific cushioning, very breathable, no blisters and my knee feels pretty good. I hope they hold up well over time. Also, I love the gray color. I am not a pink/purple girl so I am so happy to have gray/blue shoes!

it is essential to find the perfect shoe, especially after suffering various injuries
As an avid runner, it is essential to find the perfect shoe, especially after suffering various injuries. Up until a few months ago when I purchased the Triumph ISO 2, I was an avid Brooks runner....until that shoe was one of the contributors to my broken foot. Post injury, this shoe was recommend. I was very wary at first because I had never ran with Saucony. Having ran with it over the summer for short and long distances at various speeds, I absolutely fell in love with them after the first run! The fit is perfect. The mid-foot provides a comfortable compression and my toes have adequate breathing room. I love the cushion and ease of the shoe. The shoe does not shift or slip during various speed runs, nor did it give me blisters. It is also very breathable and lightweight. The shoe also has the best shoe laces. I know that sounds silly but it's very frustrating when your laces untie during a race!!! Finally, I must mention how I love the style and colors. The pair I bought are black/red with a black and white spotted design near the back of the shoe. Overall, I'm very much happy with this shoe. Looking forward to a long and happy shoe-affair with this model.

Poor design. Feet go numb, lumpy footbed, laces loosen frequently.
Ugh. So disappointed with this shoe. I've been running in Saucony for years ... probably 12 or more. In that time, Saucony has always been wonderful and totally reliable for consistent sizing, comfortable fit, excellent support and cushioning -- for short fast runs or long. Recently, however, I've had terrible experiences with Saucony. The last three pair, including and especially this one.I have spent 3 weeks trying to break these in. But no matter what I do, I cannot go more than a mile or two without my feet starting to tingle and ultimately start going numb. No amount of re-tieing, adjusting, nothing will prevent this or correct once it starts. In addition, up toward the ball of my foot and toes, some areas of the footbed seem lumpy. So that it feels like my sock is bunching up and once again, I have to stop and adjust. And finally, the tongues of this model tend to slip to the side.Oh yes. And the laces somehow start to loosen, which also forces me to stop and tighten. So basically, these shoes have me stopping to adjust something every half mile or so.Wow. These really are the worst shoes on the planet. I'll be checking out the return policy and hopefully sending back. I don't think an established company has any business selling a product this poor quality.

One of the best pair of shoes I've ever had.
I absolutely love these shoes. I have bought several pairs of high end running shoes over the past few years and have struggled to find any that I really like. They were either too heavy or hurt the outside bottom of my feet. These shoes felt amazing when I first put them on. They are light and well cushioned. I went on a 3 mile walk that first day and by mile 2 the outside bottom of my foot was on fire. I kept in mind that they may just need broken in. By the 3rd time i walked in them they felt great. I've walked and jogged in these.. on pavement and on the treadmill. They're great. I'll definitely buy these again. Another thing I like is that there isn't a loose tongue. These go on like socks which also contributes to the comfort factor.

Long time Saucony fan!!
I am a long time Saucony shoe owner and these did not disappoint. Love the color and as always, from my experience, fit great right out of the box. I had always purchased Rides but got the opportunity to purchase an earlier version of the Triumph ISO on sale a while back and fell in love with the fit. While my budget can't afford the new versions when they come out, I always watch for sales on later models. I haven't put these on the road yet as I am still on a previous pair of the 1st version that I bought when they were on sale to stock up for when the first pair needed to be retired. This pair will be used when the pair I am using now need to be retired. As far as going up a size, I think this would apply to first time Saucony purchasers or if you normally go up a 1/2 size on other brands of running shoes from what your regular shoe size is, then yes you would need to go up half a size with Saucony also. I am normally a size 6 1/2 in women's for all regular shoes, but for almost all brands of running shoes, I need a size 7. I purchased these shoes in a size 7 as I have with all prior Saucony shoes that I have owned over the years. Saucony shoes always fit me well in the forefoot area. I don't need wides, but the way the Saucony shoes are made, they seem to have a little wider toebox which suits my foot shape. The shoes are for a neutral runner, have ample support and are light weight. Great running shoe!Thank you Saucony!!

I think this model is discontinued.
I couldn’t find this particular model in my size in any of my local stores so I was thrilled to find them on Amazon. I have ‘problem’ feet which equals problem shoe shopping. These fit well and are very comfortable. And now I have another pair!

They are the best trainers I’ve ever had
They’ve just been delivered this afternoon. They are the best trainers I’ve ever had, just back from a 10k run in them and they’re so comfortable. Definitely recommend
