As with all solar power, unless you live within a tiny portion of the United States, where the Sun always shines, they simply are not the answer.However, to occasionally add some functional light, a couple of dozen nights a year, and to add undeniable aesthetic value and charm, these lights have been installed on some of my powerless outbuildings and are definitely worth purchasing. We live out in the country in EXPENSIVE New York State, it is simply not economically feasible to run power to most of our outbuildings and sheds. After purchasing my first set of these, I waited a year to install two of them and bought a second set this past year because they have lasted longer than most useless, over priced solar lights I have purchased in the past. I have even altered the brackets to allow for vertical fence post installation. We will probably buy another set next year because the pros do outweigh the cons, and they have proven to be a somewhat viable option.

More for like decoration. Doesn’t produce off any type of “it’s dark, and I need to see, light” just looks cute and subtle on the front of my house

It lights even at 6 pm great

Not too bright ; not too dull. Doesn't have Motion detection and is easy to install... Took less than 10 minutes. Requires full direct sunlight during the day to get maximum hours of light. Mine doesn't get that where it's installed unfortunately, so SOMETIMES I just remove the lights in the morning, place them in the sun and back at its original spot in the evenings.

out of the twenty I ordered, one does not work at all. But, they look good, pretty bright and easy to install

These are really cute but they actually do not give off much light and with the clear acrylic effect it makes them less of a light giver and more of a decoration.The are really quite small the light area is only about 4 to 5 inches in height and then the design with the lines which make it cool to look at but they really cast a shadow so not much light is given off. cute for the garden

They are beautiful. I got them because I'm in the country and I've driven right by my driveway because it is so dark. They were so easy to install and stay on until morning, but unfortunately they just weren't bright enough. I'm keeping them for my garden walkway. They are going to be perfect there. They are worth every cent.

Purchased these to go on our new shed that we have not wired so we went with these solar lights. They are the perfect size and are quite bright and stay lit for a long time after charged. Very impressed with them and recommend them highly

They (it works perfect), however one of them doesn’t work. I wrote to customer service, but because I live in Canada, they could not sent me a replacement. So instead, they reimbursed me for my purchase. I’m going to order again, and end up with 3 working for the price of 2.It happens! They fixed if. Supper happy
